Try it with Performance graphics. If the Xbox One version doesn't have such screen tearing then it must be fixable on PS4.

I'm still holding out hope that I'll not have any of this screen tearing. I only eat crow (or myself be Duck à l'orange) if I have these problems after the official launch. The screen tearing IS the crow! Can't eat what I don't have. But if I have it, you'll be hearing about it, and I'll be grabbing the salt to properly season said crow (and Llyod). Muahaha, cough, cough, choke...

You'll just deny it saying "It's fine on my slim, no tearing here!". I can see it now.

THIS. for me headlook is a major part of the game play, not only does it add immersion but it also gives you gameplay advantages in certain scenarios, so, the screen tearing thing is gona be a thing for me, having said that, as long as they fix it then il live with it, but, THEY CANNOT LEAVE IT FOR TOO LONG

Let me tell you about the Xbox Horizons release, where I got locked out due to the Gold sharing bug and couldn't play ED at all for almost TWO WEEKS.

I own a ps4 slim, just like you.
If i see any signs of tearing (which is a given at this point), i know you'll see it too...
Theres nowhere to hide, Old Duck! [haha]

Now, if it makes you feel any better, think of the PS4 Pro players... Those guys will be eating crow and raccoon and skunk and moldy Irish potatoes. [haha]
