Needs it's own thread... RDR2 release date on PC

Certainly deserves its own thread RDR2 on pc.

I am looking forward to the control layout and hoping that I can 'draw' a gun even faster.. ;)
I'm not sure it will look much better on pc, but we'll see. But its about the game-play anyway, so much fun to be had playing it all over again.

I'm pretty sure it will look better.
Disappointed by the Steam delay, Epic in play again?

Can't wait to see the level of macro-micro transactions rockstar hammers into the multiplayer. And oh goody.... Another launcher to install.

Same here, I`m going as blind as its possible.
As far as microtransactions for MP goes, same as with GTAV I have no intrest in MP so... sorry Rockstar :)

Yeah, I don't see myself playing the MP bit.
GTA Online has racing which is fun, even though nowhere near as fun as the hilarious GTA IV online racing - that was a blast! But I don't know what I'd do in RDR2 online, I won't be good at shooting as I'll play it with my trusty PS3 controller.

BTW, will first person view an option? I like the old 3rd person view, but equally, first person was quite immersive in GTA V.

Really looking forward to this.

What I am really hopeful is that they release a DLC for PC that will include the prequel/sequal RDR1 as we don't have that on PC. The map is there so I would have thought that it's possible.

RDR2 looks amazing on my humble PS4 Slim, so I'm really looking forward to having this on PC because it'll (supposedly) will look insanely good. I never finished the story, in fact I didn't get that far into the story because I spent so much time just wandering around doing my own thing.

Also, my wife has become addicted to Red Dead Online, and there's only one PS4 in the family, so if I ever want to play RDR2 again, it'll have to be on PC, LOL.

Do we have any idea of the cost on release?

Oh, and speaking of RDR2, I will definitely need to install a second hard drive in my laptop for this, perhaps dedicated to this one game! At close to 100GB for PS4, I can only imagine it'll be at least this big if not bigger on PC. And on that note, do PC games still come on DVD? I bought RDR2 on disc for PS4 because it would have taken me days (if not weeks) to download it on my slow connection.

Rather curious about the game, but not a fan of Rockstar themselves. And while I probably would have been caught by launch hype had it been a day 1 release, by now I've cooled down a fair bit, making waiting a bit more a complete non-issue, and skipping it altogether a possibility, like with GTA5. Will wait for a deep discount in about a year or so and decide then I guess.

Have to say platform and store exclusives are doing wonders for my wallet. They're a fantastic deterrent to impulse purchases. For the stuff I'm really into, it doesn't change much (ex: Monster Hunter World), but for the rest, it does provide me with a far better perspective (Ashen, RGO, RDR2...).

Anyhow, there'll be plenty of happy people. I didn't expect them to port it so soon.
