Whilst they are found in temperate rainforest areas (which is certainly not tropical - Ireland and much of Scotland is temperate rainforest for context), their core habitat is dry sclerophyll forest - open, dry forested areas, not moist rainforests.

Thanks! I wouldn't be mad with either pack, also I must I slightly prefer the first. Perhaps trade the leopard for a sloth.
Also interesting that the top 7 tropical don't include any SA animal except the Capybara
Yeah, seeing the South America top 7 makes me feel better about the chances of a great pack; even with the manatee and tamarin swapped out for the predicted bear and crocodilian, it's still got some good diversity.
Is the maned wolf tropical? The IUCN website lists its habitats as "Forest, Savanna, Shrubland, Grassland, Wetlands," wikipedia says it lives in "open habitats" and it is not found in the Amazon at all (or wasn't until recent human pressures). It would likely have the Grassland and Temperate biomes in-game.
