As a couple of Commanders have already said, we shouldn't be getting our hopes up. Remember, this forum is full of experts who regularly tell us that no one is working at FD, the game is dead or at very least, in maintenance mode, so we really shouldn't expect anything - right

Sold! (to anyone with $1,800 who hasn't yet realised that you could achieve the same with an $800 laptop and a cheap rucksack and who also hasn't spotted that you still need base stations to track your headset so it's not like you could go wondering down the street in VR). Still, as you say, nice back warmer! [haha]

What I'm imagining is the same menus we have in the ship, but they follow you around (which would be pointless without space legs so...Hmm, I initially thought the Torc sounded like Star Citizen's wrist mounted holo - but actually it sounds more immersive. Please FD - make it so
). The mention of customisation is intriguing. Maybe customisation for ship hud is on the way as well which would be nice (even if it's just colour).

well, i do expect something: the new exploration/mining scanners will use a new separate holo display, for all the so-exciting(tm) new gadgets that will add some micromanaging and zero additional meaning to exploring and mining. not really excited, but then i'm in maintenance mode and i will be glad to be proven wrong! nothing to loose, really ... [haha]
I'm inclined to agree with your take on this. Many players use secondary monitors while playing and would like to see them better utilized while in ED. Likewise, VR users have their own problems accessing features where they need to use kybd/mouse with a headset on.
I think QOL upgrades seem more likely than spacelegs.
Customizable tablets could be used for adding control interfaces for mapped keys???
