New small ship class?

I'd love some new smaller smalls. Based off existing SLFs or Maybe new designs based on the current SLF designs.
Possible features of these new ships could be-

- Jump/supercruise ability (lore explanation could be new guardian tech)

- New weapon sizes/types (small plasma repeater, anyone? Maybe gimballed and fixed options of the existing SLF weapon types)

- Ability to dock with both stations and player owned ships


Anyone have thoughts/extra additions to the suggestion?

Too much work for FD for something that -I'm sorry - not that many cmdrs would really use. Some would try it as a fad, but imho, that'd be about it.

If you want to fly an slf, you already can.

Yea. If you want SLFs, bring SLFs.

Small ships themselves could use some help. Adding yet another option to replace them goes the opposite way. I wouldn't like that.
