@ArchV1

Btw ArchV1 There use to be a chap on the forums called Theo20185 that coded a program a bit like yours called " ED : Trade Route Assistant " i had v0.71 where we had to input the prices & it would show you many trade routes.

Have you seen it ? I could send it to ya if u like, perhaps it might give you a few ideas ??

I used it back when he made and it and chatted with him awhile about it :) Don't worry, 2.0 will make you happy if you liked Theo's

How about an option to make the background dark like dark gray or black and the letters white or gold or something? That way those of us who game in the dark or darker rooms don't get blinded by the white screen. I will be keeping this open all the time in my cockpit so would be nice if it wasn't bright.

Love to, but can't. At least not easily. One of the downsides of coding in an ancient language and platform. :( Maybe some day...

Oh well was worth the try I guess. Thank you for the response. You'll still have a version in 32bit right. . Maybe I can dim my screen on my transformer some more. Can't wait for 2.0 hoping it will fix my little problems I'm having. I really like this tool. It is exactly what I was needing and about to build in access or excel. Thanks again. but really can't thank you enough.

Work in Progress :)

This is the trade window and the main window side by side. Note that each window individually will fit on a 1024x768 screen.
Still messing a bit with layout and a few features.

running rares were we? lol

Status Update

So tonight I got Illegal being independent from supply/demand status. For stuff you have currently saved as Illegal, it will flag it Illegal and set its status to "None". The text for Illegal commodities is red. The right-click menu Illegal is now called Illegal Toggle because it will toggle the illegal flag on and off.

Most excellent you are sir. Don't mean to delay your tuesday release date any but just wondering, is the illegal toggle ONLY in the right click menu, or also still on the F11 key?

I wish it was available for Android, constant ALT+Tabbing when on one monitor setup is not pleasant, nonetheless I love this tool, it's really handy. Good job.

Once you change to windowless it all becomes clear and REALLY easy to input at speed
I always set my supply/demands first with the keypad 7,8,9 for low to high supply and 4,5,6 for low to high demand then hit the 'hide not set' button
Then scan down and enter prices it goes like > Enter > Price> enter enter> price and so on to the end

I was hoping for an android version too originally as I have an old android tablet sitting here doing nothing, but since Arch put in hotkeys & the input window and ED got borderless mode it's become perfect just the way it is, since I do more or less the same as Cmrd Slimwadey and put the input next to the commodities screen, select hide not set, hide illegal, and hide none, then just use the arrow keys and F keys to quickly update stations. It only slows down a bit when you're adding a new station.

New user here, with a couple of suggested features. I see that this is still under active fluid development, which is great, so apologies if this duplicates previous discussion (not reading through 60 pages!):

- As others have noted, fitting into 1024 width would be good. My particular use case is that my second monitor is 1024x1280 in portrait orientation, for working on A4 documents.

- It would be useful to have a field for station size - either listing all the options, or just whether it's an outpost or not. Two use cases: Smugglers who want to find a black market on an outpost to avoid scans, and people with large ships who can't land at outposts.
- If the above was implemented, then, ability to filter the station list by size and black market presence.

- Improved data entry window. It's very tedious to go through clicking on everything to enter values. It would be good to be able to enter demand and prices directly in the "spreadsheet" view from the keyboard, as though entering them in Excel.

Thanks for a great tool! At present I'm not putting prices in due to the tedium of clicking, but even just entering the demand states it's proving its worth :)

You can do all those things already mate. For the stations listing, tick the "search station data" and type black market or whatever in the filter field. If you need to mark stations from ouposts (and which kind too eventually) just add a note and then filter by "searching notes". For the data entry mode, you can use the F-keys for supply/demand/not-set/illegal..... and the magic combo of "enter > price > enter-enter > price > enter-enter > price.....". Pretty sure it will only get better with 2.0

Looks great. I hope the commodity window i the old, narrow, one so that it fits nicely above the game in a borderless mode (with the commodity info of the game unobstructed).

I notice the loneliness of the hide buttons, but something must be left for 2.1 as well. If I decide to search for new stuff I guess it will be multiple instances. Merging them later should be easy enough, splitting them not so much.

Any chance of the addition of an amount field in the search window so it can automatically calculate the total profit for a full cargo hold for example?
