I'm going to go ahead and throw out 2.0a eventhough there's still a few outstanding feature requests (like remember button settings on windows). I think that's gonna be a bit of a refactor... should probably make a settings.txt file that has all the window positions and stuff like that. It really shouldn't be in the system_data file.

2.0a will have some of the more critical fixes.

Really liking that the new version fits nicely on my smaller second screen now :) Is there any way to mark an item as being both for sale and illegal? For example: Bulychev Holdings in LHS 1663 has a medium supply of Personal Weapons but also has them listed as being illegal.

It has that. Give it a supply and also click on the illegal toggle.

Hi, ArchIV. I still have the problem with custom fields that I described in post #14.gdir reported the same problem with a better explanation in post #13.

Yeah that one is going to be really tough honestly. I don't have any machines here that have that issue. It's hard to fix if I don't have anything to fix on this end :( I need to run it on my laptop and see if it does it there.

EDIT: Ok I was able to reproduce this by turning on magnification. Are you sure you don't have this on as well?

Thanks. Anything I can furnish (besides shipping you my laptop) just let me know.

Edit: If someone can ship me their custom_fields that works on their machine, I can load it on mine and see if it works. If it works, perhaps my machine is somehow scrambling the file. If it doesn't work, then I don't know.

I doubt that it :( The custom_fields file doesn't have anything in it that would cause the coordinates to get all screwed up. Does yours look like the screenshot gdir posted?

Great Update, Arch. One thing I notice is the trading filter Min Profit only seems to work as per unit profit. When I set the Cargo Capacity I would expect the Min Profit filter to filter for total profit.

ArchIV, I solved my problem. Apparently it's something to do with my laptop. I had run your program on my laptop to try it out, but I play Elite on my desktop. Well, I just tried 2a on the desktop and the custom field works fine. I have no idea why, but as long as it works I'm fine.

This tool just gets better and better.

But....... I may be a bit "special" but I can't (and my mate) can't seem to get the Round Trip Trading to work ?

Does it work or are we the above "special" ? :)

EDIT.... Disregard, looks like Round Trip calculation MUST have pricing.

Just spent an hour playing around with 2.0a. What can I say? Excellent work and thank you! Well worth waiting for.

One quick question if I may - is it possible to set default choice for drop downs in the custom fields? If so, how?

Once again ArchV1 I would like to say thanks for this great tool.

Thanks also for the quick fix to the Commodities entry window snapping to the center of the screen, was going to report it but noticed it already had been fixed :)

Great, thanks for this. I'll play around with this more today, but found the below:

BUG found - When you click the SWAP button and have "auto-search" on, it doesn't auto search. Also changing cargo capacity, or any of the filters don't fire the auto search - not sure if these should. if anything the swap button needs it.

When the Trading window first opens, now it stores the from location, can we have the "search" run ? or can we have

1. the system to system flag saved in config
2. the "auto search" check saved in config.

then if auto search is on, run the search on first loading?


Also turning ON the auto search check, to fire the search button click event automatically?

@ArchV1 What does the "Top / TOP" button do?
-> Never mind. It keeps it on the top of the Z-order
