It is easy to demean and belittle, not everyone can have the ability you may have. If this game was designed only to suit one end of the curve, you wouldn't be playing this game because it wouldn't exist. There have been numerous instances of battles with NPC's with capabilities that are way over the top. You can search this forum for one of my posts in regards to a recent encounter I had with a "Boss" NPC. These encounters are similar in stating that destruction happens quite swiftly without the ability to fight back.
What is sad is the lack or respect we have for each other, and there is nothing "laughable" about that.

Nothing he said was demeaning or belittling. There was not a single insult in his entire post.
It's like you lot immediately go into sensitive snowflake mode the moment you see the words "whining" or "complaining". That is in fact what you are doing. Is it necessarily a bad thing? No. Sometimes it is warranted. But it is in fact what you are doing.
He made many good points and you completely ignored them because somehow he "belittled" you. Elite's difficulty rating should not just be scaled for the space truckers. A single ship should not be able to "farm" entire wings of enemy ships. The Elite series of games have NEVER been as easy as the current game is.
If completely normal conversation and certain completely inoffensive words are offending you to the point that you completely ignore the points someone is trying to make, you may have a problem. You are a grown adult, not a child.
