Because they could possibly go some way to appease some of those affected?, because it may be the right thing to do?, because 'burying their heads in the sand and waiting for the issue to go away' may not be the best outcome here? - I dunno, take your pick.
I get your point very well. As stated before i just lack to see that would change anything.
What would an excuse change? Offline mode still wouldn't be there.
So people relying on that still have nothing to play and every reason to be angry.
I assume (though i don't know) that not many would go "Oh finally, they admit they didn't handle the issue well PR-wise, but now i can live with that and still back this product, even though i still don't get what i believed would be in the game."
Quoting myself, as noone could give me an answer:
Yes but what now?
They stated that it became too difficult.
They stated they tried and it wouldn't work.
They stated it would mean to create another game.
What now?
Is it all about just an excuse by the developing team?
Is it to stand ones point, no matter what?
Asking the team to develop a singleplayer mode, even if it couldn't be financed, just for the sake of it?
Even after telling it would be dull or boring?
Just to experience exactly that?
I am angry as well, as i looked forward to and i don't like the feeling not being able to play what i want, when i want.
But i really don't get the point what so many are expecting from FD now.
You feel cheated? They offered a refund. What else can they do?
Again, i understand that some people ask for an excuse, i simply fail to see what that would change, beside the feeling, they were taken care of, or "it#s the right thing to do".
