More great contributions.

I think mine belongs with the cyans more than the blues.

P.S. I still haven't seen better looking NPCs than mine ;)

i would rather see these holograms gone, a bit of sunshine or bright reflection and i cant see anything. But if we have to have them then please yes let us choose our colors at least :)

If you press CTRL-ALT-G, you can turn the HUD completely off. Is that what you mean? :D

Very nice! Cheers matey! Now we have at least one colour in every category! yay!

I moved it with the Cyans for now. I guess it kinda fits, but the main HUD colour looks a lot bluer with low brightness. I'll have to re-check it and see. But yeah, it does have the most vibrant colour and variation!

Hoo baby! That's pretty dang sweet. Added!

(I took new screenshots cos it looked like there might be some post-processing bloom on the ones you posted?)

No problem at all. Terry's got it covered :D

Ohhh yeah I completely forgot I was running my own tweaked EDFX Haha yeah that's no problem at all :)
And thank you very much terry ^^

I use this Mocha scheme too, it is really good - strips away the orange neon and gives a great coffee-coloured scheme[...]
A bit late with this one but I just wanted to say that this has become my favourite colour scheme by far. Mordu's white / greyscale theme looked great while exploring but the red / green colour reversals became problematic during combat and especially when using Outfitting or Engineers. Try as I might I just couldn't convince my brain to see red=good and blue=bad. Too long in the real engineering profession I guess.

But the mocha scheme is lovely. It takes the harsh glow from the orange, rendering it more as a warm yellow, and adds some differential to the various blue and red elements while keeping them in the same primary range. I would urge anyone who hates the default orange but wants to retain the bulk of the other colours to give this one a go. Screenshots don't really do it justice (the changes look as though they'd be too subtle to be effective) but after a few hours playing with it you might begin to wonder how you ever managed without.

That's a very vibrant purple :D cheers matey. And props for doing the legwork too!

Not sure if I'm imagining it, but this one seems to improve the overall brightness/contrast of the NPC pictures as a bonus side effect. They look more popping :D cheers for sharing!

Another happy customer! and nice vid! :)[up] the Eagle's cockpit is so personal. Having the right colours is essential. Good racing colours!

You're never too late to this party :D Mordu's config is proving to be quite popular! It is rather spiffing. It's so nice to hear that you guys are finding the thread useful too. [up]

Green/Yellow

Enemies are slightly darker than the hud
Friendlies are a light yellow

<MatrixGreen> 1, 1, 0 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 0, 0, 1 </MatrixBlue>

After seeing the others posted here, I feel like mine are a little basic. I hope someone enjoys them.

I don't like to "speak for someone else" but I believe JackS was actually saying that the Mordu scheme looked interesting but that it was unsuitable due to the change in icon colours on thee scanner screen. The retention of the correct (excuse the wording) colour for the scanner icons is one of the main reasons I use the Mocha scheme which JackS also comes down in favour of.

... just sayin'

Just had my first real drive around with the SRV since I changed my HUD.
Still works well although the rock target reticule color is a little too close to the color of the planet I'm currently on.

Yeah true. Late night posting for ya.

Thanks a lot for gathering suitable hud mods here!
The green really floats my boat.
This needs sticky;)

Ah that old chestnut. Yeah, that can happen from time to time. Killing the headlights can help, or drive in complete darkness :D
