Noobs in distress - Need help asap.

Hi everyone,

My friend and I have been playing ED for around 20h now. Since yesterday, we've been having issues getting into a wing. For example, I'd send him a wing request - it wouldn't pop up in his chat window. He'd send me a wing request - I would be able to see it, but wouldn't be able to accept it. I tried relogging a couple of times, and the problem either persisted, or I wouldn't be able to see him online altogether. Anyone got a solution?

Now, another issue I've been having personally is with claiming bounties. I've been doing some pirate hunting missions, and I've been able to cash in the regular mission rewards. Now, I haven't been able to cash >these< in. My understanding of them is that they can be redeemed at any station regardless of its faction orientation, right?

Regarding the first issue - are you friended in-game with each other? Sometimes, that can help.

Second issue - no, you can only cash them in in a station that has a presence of the issuing faction or, at 25% discount, at an Interstellar Factor. Usually present in low security or Anarchy systems.

1. Make sure both of You use same IP version (either IP4 or IP6) this causes P2P issues sometimes
2. You have to find a station WITH these factions to turn em in. Alternatively, You can turn em in at any Interstellar Factors, try find here

Yeah, we're friends in-game. I can see him online in the social tab, but can't send him a wing request when we're both in open play. We'll try out the IPv4 thingy and see if it works.

Hello again.

Okay, here's what I'm not getting. I just finished a mission from Wescott Hub, which is controlled by the Earth Defense Fleet. I took the mission reward, but still have a 19k bounty claim from the Earth Defense Fleet that I should be able to use. When I use the Combat Bond contact tab, I get this. Am I just clicking the wrong things? 😅

there are a bucket load of guides on youtube for noobs covering almost all aspect's of game play
some time invested in watching some of them should help with most in game activities

No, we've already both left the starting zone. In any case, we used to be able to invite each other to wings, even when we were in the starting zone.
