they doesn't have and the "recommended specs" doesn't require either. also yeah some do come with "idk what u talking about is running fine on my nasa's control center PC"
but my question was specifically why can't one be mad about a purchase that is clearly not ready for release, yet is released nevertheless?
Like, i like the game, i pre-ordered, they said it would be fine and yes i expected MINOR bugs, but now i can barely play(if you can congratz) and i'm not allowed to be mad about it? Why? It just doesn't make much sense in my head.
Would you prefer having pre-ordered Odyssey only to discover that, maybe two days before the release date, Frontier has delayed the release yet again for another six months? How many times would a delay like that be acceptable to you?
I pre-ordered a product once, and it was delayed about 6 times from the promised delivery date, only to, finally, have the whole company go belly-up before having my order fulfilled. After talking to my CC company, I was able to recover my funds, but that isn't the point.
There comes a point in any development cycle where you have to defecate or vacate. If you delay the release -- yet again -- you run the risk of the pre-orders being cancelled en masse with a large number of ed-off users, or, you take what you have, release it, and then patch and update the release as the bug reports come in - with priority given to the bugs that cause the most strife at the beginning.
It's not perfect, but it's better, in my opinion, than having the release delayed again and again and again - because delaying the release too many times erodes confidence that you'll ever see the product come to fruition - like, for example, Star Citizen.
