It depends upon how susceptible you are to VR sickness, naturally. Personally, as long as I'm standing, and not depending upon some kind of controller to turn my avatar's body, pretty much any game I've played so far that allows for traditional movement has been fine for me. That would be Vivecraft (aka VR Minecraft), Fallout VR, Subnautica(kinda), and No Man's Sky(also kinda).Genuine question - What existing FPS games out there support VR without teleportation or inducing nausea?
It's trying to play a game from a seated position, using a controller to turn my avatar's body, that I start having problems. Which is what makes No Man's Sky such a frustrating experience. It's designed to be played from a seated position, while using a controller to turn my avatar's body. Trying to play the game using roomscale is such a poor experience, I gave up after a few hours. Subnautica on the other hand doesn't support motion controllers, only game controllers, which makes trying to play that particular game in VR somewhat frustrating. At least I can turn my body naturally.
Which is why I'd rather Frontier give me a monitor in VR to play Elite Feet, than go with a half-arxed experience. If they're not going to go full roomscale, I'd prefer a more traditional experience.
