Odyssey VR specific bug reports - please contribute!

Come’n git yer bug reports! Git’em while they’re ‘ot!

Two more weeks development an’ that’s yer chuffin’ lot!

(There’s still a few issues achingly close to being Confirmed, so if they sound familiar please spare a few moments to add a confirmation to them. With the news that VR is only getting bug fixes over the remaining Updates and that’s it for the foreseeable future, let’s get your desired issues voted for!)

I don't get this voting idea! What's it for? Surely putting in all the info that there's a problem, that probably happens for everyone, is enough. Then to get 10 others to confirm... Well that's a bit belt and braces... But then voting!! What for?

From the FAQ:
In addition to collecting information on issues that our players may be experiencing, we want the community to tell us which issues are the most important to them. Voting for an issue is your way to tell us what you think we should be prioritising and working on fixing soonest.

Please be aware that your votes are limited! Once you have used a vote on an issue, you will not be able to use this vote again until the issue has been fixed, or you revoke your vote from this issue
.”

The 10 confirmations seems a bit excessive to me compared to FDev’s other games that only require four? I think? Especially as the bug report will expire after a month if it doesn’t get the 10 unique confirmations. I think one of the CMs mentioned they may be rethinking the 6 vote limit & 10 confirmations, but that’ll not help us VR users in the short term.

Thanks for the info.... But good grief, it's as bad as I thought.

Probably a way to prioirtise fixing effort, although if that's the only triage metric its likely to be a little crude and could lead to persistent bugs not getting fixed, due to an algorithmic version of "maybe I'll do that tomorrow" or the colloquial meaning of "mañana" ;) The limit of six vote is likely an attempt at stopping "astro-turfing", although the web site itself should be able to spot that to some extent i.e. one user gets one vote...

Oops ninja'd by Arioch...

Update 4 patch notes are out and I could only spot the mouse button menu problem for VR, as posted above.

If anyone spots something I’ve missed or encounters undocumented fixes, please let me know 👍

No new VR bug reports that I can find (though one flatscreen player is seemingly glitching into a VR screen in one recent issue report 😅) and confirmations are still slowly trickling in.

I’d like to see 3 more confirmations on this one: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/37825 - it’s the momentary view glitch that happens every time you jump or enter/leave SuperCruise. It’s a bug that’s happened before and I’d love to be able to vote for it, hint hint 😉

The big bug. Not full VR on foot.
