Anyway, apparently the rogue ring isn’t VR specific - it’s an Acknowledged issue and can be voted for:

Thursday is going to be "interesting". Considering "history", I fear that the VR bugs won't be solved this Thursday. I'm not talking about VR spacelegs, just that Odyssey is unplayable in VR.A couple of extra Confirmations on duplicate issues - why U do dis?!- but apart from them nothing much has changed and I’ve not spotted anything new in the tracker.
Fingers crossed for Thursday’s patch notes![]()
The DSS is scheduled to be fixed in Update 5, and I hope they’ve got the VR comfort stuff as high priority (the maintain horizon setting & only-in-one-eye rendering) as well as the broken CZs - we can also probably bet on a few smaller patches after Update 5 to hotfix any glaring issues.Thursday is going to be "interesting". Considering "history", I fear that the VR bugs won't be solved this Thursday. I'm not talking about VR spacelegs, just that Odyssey is unplayable in VR.
The good question is what will then happen? I can only speak for myself. I do not think Fdev delivered what they promised, but I love the game so much that I have basically taken a break, waiting for Fdev to fix their mess. If Thursday won't fix the horrible VR performance, and the plethora of other VR bugs, then I'm done waiting and being lied to. Then I'll start looking for other VR games (@Bottom Hat: I need my stuph for that), and then I will definitely demand a refund for Odyssey. Not that I'm sure I will get one, but that won't keep me from trying, and I will be so annoyed that I will be stubborn. I don't think I'm the only one having that feeling, so yes, Thursday will be interesting. It might even end in some sort of Class-Action Lawsuit. Probably not, but time will tell.

I have a settlement massacre mission, and one of the NPCs is glitched and stuck underneath the floor of a building. He is shooting through the walls from the ground up at me.
The settlement is Bonfils Nutrition Collection on Diaguandri AB 2 under the habitat building.
Well that’s two down (and the SRV being my personal bugbear) but I couldn’t see any mention of the DSS which was scheduled to be fixed in this Update*.
- Fixed an issue where respawning in a Conflict Zone in VR could cause a black screen for the player.
- Fixed the "maintain horizon" option for SRVs not working in VR.
Is that the AMD sort-of-version of DLSS I’ve been reading about? Could be a goodie for VRAMD FidelityFX CAS has now been integrated, and can be adjusted on a slider in the quality settings menu.
Hey VR folks, sorry to be the bearer of bad news on this one but the DSS fix didn't make it in. We thought we had the fix ready for this Update but it still needs some more work. Apologies.
Vanity cam is now unlocked in VR! Thanks!!!![]()
The FSS is my one standing Vote issue - if anyone else would like to get us off the second tier, please vote here:@ Arioch
I notice FD seem to be addressing the top 5 reported issues in the tracker.
With that in mind, I wonder if it might be worthwhile to instead of listing multiple issues, which dilute the VR player base and keep each VR issue's rank low, we should pick just one issue, one issue that the community can get behind and promote big time. Once (hopefully) FD have dealt with the issue or at least formally addressed in one of the big update posts, we can select another issue!
I would like to recommend fixing the FSS's missing orbit lines. Why?
1) Because it is ED:H and I think we can latch on to some form of moral obligation here. FDev said they WOULD be supporting Horizons' VR but haven't been.
2) It is something important to explorers, who may be a quieter demographic, not involved or interested in ED:O threads. Therefore, a request to boost the FSS ticket in the Exploration forum is 100% relevant and could lead to a decent signal boost by the Exploration forum.
What do you think?
DSS!
Concentrate on that one! FSS later
Is it possible to promote just one VR issue? I do think it would stand a far better chance for being significantly upvoted.
I would like its pyramid look like the pyramid on the top 5 that were in Arthur's post yesterday!
SWEET!!!!!No. Leave it alone! Don't touch it! They fixed it. Source: https://twitter.com/i/status/1410543593287266307
What's the FSS problem everyone's having? It's working fine for me too but I could be missing something.SWEET!!!!!
FSS then??
