I'm glad you have (most of) your merchandise. At least some people have gotten theirs. I suspect yes the issue was a combination of lack of staffing and lack of stock (i.e. a complete under-estimate in all regards) - but the situation remains the same and quite frankly; I appreciate your suggestion about posting a recorded letter; but I actually don't want to cause trouble - I want the game to succeed and as such FD needs to succeed.

Personally; I feel I have poked and prodded on the forums, via tickets (still no answer) and direct PM's enough for something to have been noticed. If it's not then there's serious management issues here.

I've said it before (several times) .... The absolute very minimum FD's customers should have had is an update and apology. Neither are forthcoming. I know FD don't want bad publicity but it would go many miles in customer relations for FD to publicly apologise for the complete shambles in the merchandise store. The merchandise store surly represents a revenue stream which I would have thought would be given some priority - not ignored.

It can only get better I guess, let's face it - it can't get any worse!

It appears to me that the support tickets for the game may be being worked on, but the tickets for the Store are being treated with a significantly lower priority.
.
I raised a ticket on the 17th December, for a T-shirt that appears to have been lost in the post, but have not had any response from support about it since then.
:(

Don't worry - I've been assured that they're working through it - my tickets from early December yet to be answered too - T-shirts as you might have guessed :)

I raised a ticket for a returns number over 4 weeks ago. Ticket not even been looked at.
I emailed Edward Lewis and he ignored me as well.

How disappointing.........

It seems the "Store support team" is busy as much as the development team...

Some of my tickets are waiting since the launch of the new support site and before...

Do you think, if I tell them I am a specialised newspaper's redactor (volunteer) and that I can write when I want on their customer support, it will go faster?

regarding support you will find that all tickets are looked at, its just that some are always more important than others, FD's Support team are probably more focused on the games issues and as such will take priorty over a lost parcel, as FD are not a Retail outlet like amazon they probably dont have the infrastructure in place to deal with lost items or damaged goods straight away, or it may have been that the item or shirt size was not it stock at the time and still isnt in stock.
as customers issues cant be solved instanty many of the tickets will be put on hold until a resolution can be created, its a pain for the customer and its equally a pain for FD not being able to solve all complaints straight away as they will still need to deal with the backlog.

Well this may be true, but too hear nothing back at all is just poor support and the fact that FD will not even reply to the issues.... I have even called the office to be told we are so sorry but we are understaffed, This is NOT my problem I have Paid for items that have not been received. Promises were made to the backers that have not been kept and we cannot even get a response from FD on what the status is! We were told after release that it would be resolved by the end of that week, well we are a month later and still not resolved....

Sorry to hear about your problems.

I received my t-shirt 2 days ago. I'd assume they are processing orders in a chronological order... But I am not an employee, so I can't confirm for sure. I think other people are receiving their orders now as well, I've seen a few posts on Facebook ED Community group confirming this.

As for lack of response from the support - Frontier acknowledged the response times are no good and are expanding their support team, according to posts from Frontier employees on these forums.

An update to my 2 merchandise orders....

One has been marked as complete whilst the other is still processing. Yet today I receive the T-shirt for the order which is still 'Processing'. No T-shirt from the earlier (completed) order.

As per my updated ticket; this isn't filling me with much confidence. FD have had my money for a long time (far longer than necessary imho) and during that time; with regards to these orders I've had no specific direct response to tickets.

Are these tickets being put to the bottom of the queue or are the sales team dealing with them limited to just a single person who has gone on leave and nobody has noticed?

Sort this situation out FD.

Quick! Someone from Frontier needs to send a T-Shirt to Jim Parsons to wear on "The Big Bang Theory".... Just think of the interest and exposure that move might create....

You offer a service, you damn well better learn to be able to deliver on time. If you can't do it. Don't offer it.

At Long Last

Eventually my T-Shirt has arrived. Nearly 3 months after ordering. T-Shirt is great looks good quality, but ...
Frontier please get your marketing section improved, do you just need a few more people?
I'd best get people to order that Elite mug about now so there is a chance I'll get it as a present on time next Christmas.
Fixing game bugs is fine, but game does work and these minor gremlins can be lived with.
Physical products are more important. Especially as you want to use them as a revenue stream.
However lack of response to queries and long lead time will really make me not want to buy any more merchandise :(

The T-Shirt arrived :-O
I am baffled since it was addressed to my in game/forum name but not on the name I registered and order it...and I am kind of sad 'cause they forgot the "Commander"...
5 Months, 3 days :) I gained to much weight, need a larger T-Shirt now (rofl)

Ah dammit.. Even more stuff that I need to throw my money at... Oh well.

Also, can anyone update me on the shipping time? Saw some people complaining about it taking very long, has this been resolved or is it still an issue?
