It appears that Mercenary Edition Extras are available to download now.
Just login to your Game Account in the ED Store, then check in "My Downloadable Products" and all the digital extras mentioned in the Newsletter #62 are available to download.
I assume that the art book will be mailed once they've got them printed.

I'm not going to say in decent society the things I would do to get a model/replica Viper for my desk, but.......well, you can use your imagination.
As an aside, my experience with the shop has been very good so far. Two skins bought for my two Vipers, a t-shirt that arrived extremely quickly, a keyring that also arrived super fast, and another t-shirt is on the way a day after I'd ordered it.

I ordered a t-shirt and the boxed upgrade of the game on 6th Dec but nothing yet. Knowing the problem with the boxes, I opened a ticket to ask for the t-shirt to be sent anyway, but got this reply on 2nd March 'as the box copies are due out very soon, we will not be able to split the order and these items will be sent out together.'
I can't imagine we will have to wait too much longer.

I too ordered the boxed set upgrade and a T-shirt. I have received confirmation this morning that are being shipped today (im in the UK). HUZZAH!!
The boxed sets are arriving! I raised a ticket on Monday and was told that they would be distributed by the end of this month. True to FD's word, I've just received mine through the post five mins ago. V. nice! Thanks FD!!
EDIT: Not sure what version is on the DVD (not that important to me) or the quality of the manual as I've left it shrink-wrapped, but it's nice to have something tangible to go next to my Amiga versions of Elite and Elite II: Frontier.

I whish i had a Elite Dangerous Cap to put my TrackIR Clip on.
Black just with a Elite Combat Rank Symbol would do fine for that.
(At the moment i have a ancient Eurofighter one, from the historic Days of the early 2000's on Earth.)

Ok, i bought the Boxed Version and the Soundtrack CD Version as well.
Will i be able to download the MP3 somehow, or do i have to find a Computer with CD/DVD Drive to rip them myself?
I bought both just to have the nice Covers and Disc Designs. But i have no physical Drives myself anymore. Still want to hear the Soundtrack tho...
When i'm buy a CD on Amazon i get a downloadable MP3 Album as well. Is there any code inside the Box? Because in my Downloadable Items Section there is no Soundtrack listed yet.

Was I just so excited about the game that I was dreaming, or maybe having an LSD flashback from some of my long-ago experiences in college? Or did those paint jobs disappear from the store at some point? If the last, any chance that they'd be making a comeback?

As far as I know they were exclusive paint jobs available for a limited period of time only. I don't *think* they'll be making a comeback, but don't quote me on that.
