Alcohol fixes all problems. Thought everyone new that.

Alcohol made my life so much worse...seriously, ye wouldnt believe some the stuff it caused me to do in the past...like dislocating someones jaw cos they looked at me funny. Hateful stuff aint touched a drop in years...I just completely lose control and end up starting fights.

Only in elite does it actually improve volatile situations...not the only thing that just doesnt make sense, but it is what it is I suppose. Bring back the onionhead ^

Sounds like one of my closest friends, nicest guy when sober, absolute monster when drunk. Doesn't help that he's a 6ft+ dude built like a cage fighter, refuse to let him drink around me, some people just shouldn't touch alcohol. Rest of my mates, we can all go out and get wrecked, have an awesome time and go home.

Respect though for realising you had a problem, and sorting it out.

I'd double check stations since I had similar issue with basic medicines and outbreak system. Target system reported an outbreak. It was close to my base that supplied BM (245 cr buy). GalMap trade filter said ~4.9K import price. So I loaded my Cutter full (728t) and went on to deliver it for a hefty profit (3.6M more less). Upon arriving at station I noticed they pay slightly over 500 cr/t.

Outbreak-my-rear. Trade-filter-my-rear. But then I checked the station status. Nowhere said anything about an outbreak. So I relocated to the another station that was in the system. First one I picked just it was the closest from star. Upon arrival to the second station, after docking, comms warned me about an outbreak. I was home :)

Unloaded all cargo bay, cashed in 3.6M. Made few runs that day.

Can you post the system name, wanna check something. In general you should filter for low population to maximise profits, although famine work is best for just gathering data/mats. Outbreak pays a lot better, still for pure cash you are better off just hauling out of refinery/industrial systems in boom.

Also another note, don't use the wiki, I know it tells you to buy food catridges, ignore it. For example, you can buy fish from anywhere from 300cr-500cr per tonne, take it to a low population famine system, you can sell it for over 3000cr per tonne.

@Stealthie - Gotta keep those troops happy with liquor and hookers, 5$, love ya long time.

Cheers

I had no idea that different stations in a system would be in different states. Sadly I was just passing through while trying to get my trophy for selling to multiple markets so I don't remember the system name. I didn't even use the wiki, which may have been my mistake ;) The station I was leaving didn't have much exept the food cartridges so I galaxy mapped a nearby system in famine and off I went.

As for selling the food cartridges to distribution centre type 9s, it sounds so preposterous that I'm definitely going to give it a go! :D :D :D
