After years of adjustments to the PvP system following the utterly disastrous launch.I don't know about this game, but I've seen people play Fallout 76, and for some reason they're not sneaking around and hiding around every corner. And if someone meets a player who is stronger than him, he gets prizes and congratulations from him and not death. I guess the anarchic world after a nuclear war is more civilized than Elite space.
Initially there were no controls on ganking and player numbers tanked. Bethesda reacted with various measures and loopholes which allowed ganking to continue. Hotel California is as much a thing in '76 as it is here and Bethesda's solution for persistent troublemakers is nowhere near as effective as Fdev's.
