Operation Enigma, breaking the code!

I must say, while I completely disagree with leaving Open for taking other players on, there is a kind of poetic justice to it. CODE ganked traders who couldn't fight back. Now traders can fight CODE in a way they are equally powerless to stop.

The symmetry... It's so beautiful :D

Thank you, now its a waiting game.

It will also be an interesting test of the BGS, how long it takes to remove a player minor faction and replace it with an AI one.

Hey guys I have searched all of these posts, (including Clements, Achilles, Gluttony’s, Nonya's, and all the responses) and have yet to see a link to the cheat screen caps.

Both Frontier and Reddit.

Not a small task….. 2 hours….

Hate to add fuel to the fire, but I would appreciate it if someone could post the links referred to above. Keep waiting for someone to post the vid(s).

Thanks.

A few people have said why not fight them in open, that is the whole point of me starting this thread.

They want to fight in open they find it fun, why not make them all stop fighting and start grinding so save their faction.

This will also remove them from fighting people if they are too busy grinding, or they keep fighting and lose the faction.

You don't have to shoot them to beat them.

The Code really doesn't care about PVE factions very much. You are wasting your time.

Hey Bill thanks for that. It really is a sideways argument to my point. Just like to have the facts and not conjecture!
Been spending ore time in the forums than playing.

Regards,
Rolx :)

OK lets get all emergent here :p

Point of this thread, gathering volunteers to work against the code, seen it mentioned a few times in the last day or two in relation to Hutton, what this has shown is they are very sorry, wont do it again but are keeping the Mobius gankers, pad squatting cheats and anyone else, but if they do it again, a few more times, they will be in big trouble.

I saw a few posts saying fight back, great idea I though, but not yet.

I popped over to Leesti and it was Reynhardt Intellisys they support IIRC, you can counter them with Alliance bounty’s, just drop them at Leesti, unless something changed, but no, lets just wait a minute don't burn out, play the long game.

In a few months we will get minor factions, as soon as the code get their one undermine it, work against them until their faction is gone, I spent 50 hours on the Hutton Mug, I will spend hundreds eradicating the code, join me.

So add your name here, and we can start a list for the "Leesti Defence force", lets wipe those scurvy dogs off the face of the..... er Galaxy or at least Leesti.

But not until they have a minor faction to wipe out, lets wait and do it properly "Jita has to burn" (no never played Eve, just been here a while).

PS

Rep to anyone who can guess why the code PR machine has been running at full speed for the last couple of days, rofl. Did someone have a "Gerald Ratner" moment.

Oh did I mention, all actions are to be carried out in solo or group mode, sorry my idea, I make the rules :p

Count me in, but I think ill just carry on picking off their ships when I encounter them
-
Everytime I fight CODE they threaten me with "Your on our kill on sight list now for killing our ship"
In which my reply is
"Actually im on your kill on sight list about 10 times over now"
-
I don't think they want to be friends with me :(

Shame the code guys are real nice. Drop some cargo to them and they leave me alone. :)

Then again i am not going to take on a vulture and stealth dbs with my anaconda.

What about me saying I wanna do fun things let you come to conclusion I want to grind? Or are you trying to imply that playing Solo equals Grind? (I'm pretty sure grinding is something you do, not in wich mode you do. Mode has nothing to do with it)..

Should the code get a minor Faction I don't really gonna fight them, but I can see that it looked like that from what I said so thats my bad. But it just makes a lot of Sense that some people would do it, its pretty much the perfect way to fight a group like the code who enjoys direct PvP, hence direct PvP helps them.
Which is great for anybody who wants to help them having fun, nothing wrong with that, but you can't fault people for wanting to fight them in a way the code does not enjoy after the code did fight them in a way they don't enjoy. Karma always gets you.

Note: While I don't like the code, don't wanna help them or play with them I also don't wanna to do anything bad to them.
Sorry, I guess I assumed you were planning to join the solo fight against code.

Griefing griefers is still griefing.

I'm not able to process something. Why you people play in open with knowing danger (CODE danger)?
Community goal? Better earning in Open, or just you like dangerous situations?

For remember:
CODE team use cheats?

Sometimes i get the feeling i should just do Community goals solo.

If you live by the sword then you better be prepared to die by it... if griefer's are not effectively dealt with by FD then it is inevitable the community will do what they feel is necessary.

I am not saying I support an eye-for-an-eye approach to justice but in the absence of any effective deterrents or policing there is no real alternative.

Not everyone playing Open will necessarily know the risks and TBH playing in an Open environment does give greater opportunity to engage co-operatively with people. Fuel Rats is a prime example of good cooperative game play and their task would be made easier if they did not have to rely on joining private groups to help people or have the people join specific groups or even risk Open... that is part of the reason why Open PvE would be appealing.

Im not against Open play, im against people who harm others. Like cheaters.
CODE team, if they are only gangers, pirates - for that we can have Bounty hunters with specified target Names.
But, if they are Cheaters, or they use Cheat, let FD to take deal with him.

If I were good at PVP, had the money for a proper HOTAS setup and the time to build the mad skillz needed to master FA/off... and would instancing actually make it possible to form wings without bugs ruining the attempt, I would actually love to form a wing of pirate hunters and gang up on one Code member after another until all their credits are depleted and they are bombed back into the basic Sidewinder.

But real life has a bit more to offer.
