Operation Enigma, breaking the code!

Hmmm... an organised blockade of all pirate home systems in Open? ... they would probably just bypass it via Solo or Private Group. ;)

You need an organized group. Any Empire groups want to get them go now. They are heading for the CG soon.

One is in a type-6 and the other in a anaconda. The other is camping the station for trade dividends.

Point of this thread, gathering volunteers to work against the code

A group that is bringing deeper content, forum talk and people moving in Elite, honestly I'm not sure I want (or really can) work against it.
If I was a pirate I'd even be emergent and try to join them.

but if they do it again, a few more times, they will be in big trouble.

Sorry, but this sounds a bit pretentious to me...

That comment related to Gluttony Fang stating he has investigated and is not taking further action against his members, but they have now put rules in place and if they are broken they will take action next time (maybe if you believe them).

Please read carefully of my wording.

In my announcement, I stated that we are not pursuing matters further with pad blocking, but it is a report-able infraction to us in the future since we did not stipulate anything about pad blocking and came to the conclusion after the event that it isn't something we endorse.

However, other actions reported (such as firing without warning) are taken as offenses and disciplinary actions were and are being carried out.

Or you could keep blowing them up. Eventually they'll run out of money or patience. You'd also be putting a lot of pressure on them and force them to move out of the new Caribbean, or fight all the time.

I've thought of this several times, seeing as how a strain of paranoia seems to run in certain "player-clusters" that solo/open players are uniting against factions, or for factions, or... well, grouping to oppose them (although most-sensible view is that there are as many working for one Power as against in solo/group, and many solo/group players don't even bother with PP).

What if, say, Mobius Group decided to use their "group power" towards a single goal (although that would be problematic); 11,000 players...

Hey guys I have searched all of these posts, (including Clements, Achilles, Gluttony’s, Nonya's, and all the responses) and have yet to see a link to the cheat screen caps.

from what I saw/observed at Hutton (in my own ship as well as the Twitch streams) is that players were sending those things directly to FD. I might have been commenting on videos; can't remember. I'll try to dig some links up for you.

Thank you for you reply, I was referring to the first part, I was unaware of the second.

Is it not codes standard rules to warn first, if so its a shame people are not sticking to them. Such a basic breach of SOP's has caused you all this trouble, well that along with people blocking pads because it wasn't stipulated they should not.

Regarding the pad blocking, your colleague Nonya gave us a great insight into codes understanding of the mechanics, I learnt a few things. The first being you have been aware of pad blocking etc for a while, and possibly should have ruled it out prior to the CG.

The PR campaign begins.

It started yesterday https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=182182

Sorry, I forgot to ask, did the code apply for a minor faction?

I actually do feel a little bad for you, I am sure you would be rather dealing with puppies mess than the codes mess.

+1 rep for your hard work trying to repair the damage though, you are a grafter (in UK it means someone who works hard if you have not heard the term).
