Passenger issue isn't resolve !

If someone would've suggested 3 years ago that 63 million / hour are a reasonable mission reward you would've told them that they are nuts.
Not me. I always though they nuts to go full throttle with grind fest and artificial progress dampeners (though it was totally understandable "necessity" years ago, when game had content level of tech demo).

After I've got my KS key, played for ~month, then thought "well, that's certainly game which does not respect preciousness of our life time".

The VIP passenger missions are reasonable for a number of reasons.

1. Passenger ships like Orca and Beluga Liners that can stack multiple luxury/first class cabins have a decent advantage in credits/hour over other ships.

2. If you get a fine leaving the station, get scanned by police or pirates, take even 1 hull damage, heck, even get rammed by police while leaving/entering the station, you risk losing multiple passengers, dramatically reducing credits/hour. I've even had an instance where a ship literally jumped into my path while boosting into the station, and got a murder charge and the loss of my beluga liner and all it's passengers.

3. It's not brainless easy to do the above while flying massive ships like the Anaconda/Beluga Liner/Cutter. It actually involves a little gameplay.

4. People don't earn anywhere close to the amount of credits carrying bulk passengers from to Smeaton. The most I've earned is 65m credits/hour, but that is in an 200m Beluga liner with expensive A-drives and luxury cabins. Considering the grind required just to afford a big ship, as well as the actual cost of an A-specced big 3 ship, 12 hours running passengers to barely afford 1 big ship doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

5. Even with that awesome A-specced ship, you still die within seconds to a fully engineered ship. The real grind now is the engineers. You can't expect people to spend months grinding up to an A-spec Anaconda and then years grinding up to an engineered ship to even compete in open play.

6. If they spent all that time to grind up to an A-specced god-rolled ship just so they could sit in Maia and kill T-7 pve traders and get bored and scream "no meaningful content", then the joke's on them, because they could have done that in a 40m Clipper in the first week of playing.

And today you find it normal because you have seen so many exploits that are even worse?

Nah, I still find it abnormal that you're position of false equivalency is considered...rational.

(But then you already knew that. ;))

I have the same problem with Question Time and Andrew Marr. But then the masses swallow it all up and ask for more. Go figure.

It's conditioning what does it. Shiny, manageable hair for the great unwashed.

As always you might want to replace your avatar with this one:

Stick yourself in your ear mate.

You do meet expectations fairplay. The tower of Babelfisch, is made of ivory.

Having said that, it must provide a fabulous location for throwing a Clique Gathering. What with you all wearing your grey bedsheets and all. White stone, grey uniforms, black decor I trust...highlighted with screenshots of your most boring missions in big brushed steel frames.

It must be an exercise in mono-tonal nonsense ؟

Good news ! Passenger transport isn't dead !
I'll be able to buy my anaconda without having to farm for months !
Thank You ;)

Just like i said before... a good example of lazy player.

You are just missing the taste of the game. (And the dev to sell some extras for small ship with such fast progress btw^^)

You'll discover maybe later what means "no pain, no gain" doing engineers.
I hope so, if not you'll do as many new players: fast-in, fast-out

I know people are going to hate on this for taking a stab at their cash-cow income in the game, but FDEV forgot to fix the VIPs passenger missions.

VIP missions are not the problem. They are a nice spice in the game. VIP missions are not your problem either. Your problem is being in the headlines.

Can that be fixed? Maybe. Maybe not.

If you find an easier exploity feature or system the problem is almost solved. Then just enter into "meta BGS game" and inform this forum and reddit with stuff like:

Medb is awesome -- better than Smeaton!

Then give detailed instructions how to use Medb and a nice slightly exaggereted story how many millions you get there per hour.

(For the record, I don't even know where Smeaton is.)

Bit hard to claim cash cow, when each mission requires an entire cabin, and few ships can carry more than bout 6 cabins. Also those missions often have AI chasing, or illegal passengers. So a very different thing to sardines.

Frontier removed the biggest aberration; stand down cmdr.

Uhu!!!!!!!!!!

Let's go people. Everybody unite!!!!!!
NO mission may pay more than 1 credit per mission !!!!
No more than 1 mession per trip.
NO trip less thaN 50 ly
Lets make a Viper Mk3 The ultimate GOAL.

( BAH! people should play game like a game , not like real life )

Yes, that's completely the same like 60 million credits per hour. Absolutely.

Yeah, like those guys that make 20-50mi/hour and come there to tell about 200MI/Hour income..

Oh Gosh.

Actually my average (over the 2 days I tested it) was around 110m-120mcr/hr. A couple of trips (using board flipping) netted me 177mcr and 193mcr respectively; just waiting for the board to auto-update and taking what was there (until I had to leave due to mission expiry constraints) gained me the lowest totals (32mcr/44mcr/46mcr). Actually flying between ports in Upsilon Aquarii got me that average so, yeah, 200mcr/hr was possible with flipping, just extremely boring to try and achieve.

If I may ask...what did you spend the credits on? I'm curious as to what Commanders spent the first big Smeaton payouts on.

Nothing, I was just testing to see if the claims were bullroar. I was already into my second billion, with all the ships I'll ever want/need; Smeaton just pushed me into my third. :)

Cool, I bought ships. Lots and lots of ships. Most fun I've ever had in game, test driving them all.

I just wonder how common that action was.

Buying and A rating an Imperial Cutter.
I've avoided every single exploit/loophole/unfair advantage for 3 years and have a A-graded Python, A-graded FDL, C-graded Anaconda (with A thrusters and FSD)
I don't have it in me to grind for another 3 years just to add the biggest, coolest ship in the game.
Now I can.

Honestly, I don't know what to think of a person that runs to this forum with screenshots, demanding that an already nerfed mission system have the last few drops of juice squeezed out of it.
Maybe go outside, get a breath of fresh air. Enjoy another hobby for a while.
Life's too short.
