Anyway just saw the bush dog - wow, better than I could have imagined! Just perfection! For people wondering about interspecies enrichment for them, no way haha, they are pack hunters and will even take a tapir down.

Maned wolves behave very differently from all other canines in this regard, feeding mainly on fruit and insects.

So the only animal we have yet to see is the flamingo... While we haven't gotten an image of it yet, I'm sure it will look good. It's a pretty hard thing to screw up, considering how we already have a flamingo.
Also, tomorrow we'll probably see the content creator videos and we'll finally view all the animals in action

Not sure, but I was looking at their instagram account and last time they only posted the African Spurred Tortoise screenshot when the DLC was already out, so I guess they are not too concerned to showcase them all before release anyways.

The animals look great so far. As mentioned by Others, the Rhea could be remodeled a bit, especially at the "wing" area.

But besides that I am really happy with the Models. I do not want to complain in small details. If I want to see a completely accurate model I will go the real Zoo.

To me it looks like they've only come out of the woodwork now that the coyote is being criticised, which is my point. Sure, it popped up now and again, but the prevailing opinion seemed to be "there are ten better dogs and fifty better species". It stinks of contrarianism.

I don't care if someone's calling it 'roadkill'. We went through that same song and dance with the Twilight Pack. Obviously there are people who aren't going to be fond of urbanised and potentially dangerous wild animals, justified or not.

As always, I just want some good faith arguments, because they never seem to actually be in good faith at DLC announcement time. Like, if someone has realised they actually like the coyote now that it's here, just say that. Don't pretend you always wanted it, or that it was always a good pick. Just say "Actually I'm fine with this." People might argue with you, but who cares? Your opinion can't be wrong; there's no objective truth about what animals should/shouldn't be included in the game.

How many times have I said I want the Sumatran tiger? I don't care when people tell me it would be a "wasted slot" or "just use the Bengal as a substitute". But I'd sure be annoyed if all those people suddenly came out saying, "Oh, great choice, yes, I wanted this," if it suddenly made it into the game.

I think remodeling the wing Region would improve the Overall Look a lot. This is surely an eye catching on the First Look. I would Like to See them in Motion before I complain more about the model.

I myself as someone working with animal and knowing the SA or NA wildlife I can't see these are great picks. The rhea, ocelot, bush dog are great choices, Saki is decent, however the rest..

With the bushdog, the coyote lost it's touch even as logo animal, cause that spot would've been taken by the bush dog, a better animal to make people excited as it's way more unique. The bighorn sheep is okay, but why not a mountain goat? I mean, sure this bighorn sheep is good for desert zoos and such, but a mountain goat is more appealing, more unique and more NA representation. The bighorn sheep is literally copy past and give it a new color, done. I feel like it kind of makes the dall sheep useless? Same as the spectacled caiman and cuvier's dwarf caiman, both great, but one is just outcompeting the other, making one of them kind of useless, might be just me xD

The American Flamingo...despite me being a bird lover and having seen these birds in real life(During my trip to the Galapagos) is literally also a copy paste animal and feels to me kinda useless. Yes I'm glad we got more birds, but it doesn't really expand the bird roster much. There are better options; Screamer, Pelican, Jabiru, spoonbill, Ibis, for me especially the pelican. Everywhere on the tropical beaches in the Americas are brown pelicans, and I really wished they would continue the waterfowls after the swan, but alas no. To me it would be much better to have a Brown Pelican than another flamingo, which is the same as the others.

The future of PZ is gonna be mods, same as ZT2, mods will continue the support for PZ for many long years and even after support. For me this pack has so many missed opportunities, as SA has so many unique animals. Tamandua, a porcupine, Mara, and for goodness sake a COATI! such a missed chance, and a real shame. SO yeah that's what it sums it up for me, a lot of wasted potentials of becoming great...

I disagree the bush dog isn’t a well-known animal like the coyote. If we look at the comments and ignore the forums, it’s getting a neutral reaction. It’s cute, sure, but it’s not well-known enough to be the logo. Also, the coyote reminds me of my Kyara at home, so of course I had to buy it! xD The bush dog doesn’t have that same effect, even though, unlike the coyote, it was on my wishlist.
