Okay, am on my second video. So far: I LOVE the Flamingo, but I am not surprised about that. The animals are made with more love than the animals from tzhe Barn Yard Pack at least. Still about to hear the Coyote.

What is absolutely something I am NOT happy about is the pieces. Especially not when we see the pieces as a substitute for an exhibit animal. This pack could have easily another Sloth Species in the WT exhibit, instead of giving us 50 repetitive paper pieces, confetti and giant sombreros. Those are absolutely unusable for me.

And yes, foliage is really missing in a pack that should fill gaps and we do not have many south american plants, sorry.

Ocelot looks better in game than in pics, still not a fan of the tail and some posturing, but the face looks better in 3D.

Rhea wings and neck are still bad, but might I say the model looks a bit better in game, especially next to Ostrich (I believe ZSH has them together in video). For one there are way better color variations that weren't shown in screenshots.

Coyotes are fine, it's not like they'll be seeing light of day in my game.

Sakis look mostly very well done. I don't like how tail is raised when they sit on vines and some other animations, but oh well it's a minor issue. Model is great, love the variations.

Both Bighorn and Flamingoes looks absolutely fantastic. I praised before the decision to go for generic Bighorn, both in name and in looks. Excellent model. Flamingo is very well detailed and colors are on spot. Both of these will for sure replace their "clones" in my zoos.

And finally, I think Bush Dog is best animal in the pack, both model and behavior wise. I've heard from people more familiar with them that there are some inaccuracies, I trust them, but I couldn't tell. Love all the animations and enrichment they got + deep diving and burrows. They're the Wolverine of this pack. Fantastic ️

Yeah the 80 pieces are well, in germany we would say "Mogelpackung".
The small metall pieces are great, but idk how i feel about like half of the pieces being flaggs

Definitely. Some are nice, like the small sombrero and the new bench/table/trash can. And the iron is nice.
I liked Leaf's idea to use the fabric pieces as rugs. The papel picado is nice, too. I guess it isn't the pieces themselves but more that we could've gotten more variety and/or an exhibit animal

Agreed on the scenery.
It's our second pack in a row with these "party" type decorations, and IDK how to feel about that... It made sense for Zookeeper Pack, but here? Eh. Foliage/two-toed sloth would have been better.

Glad to see many of the community fears like coyotes missing their iconic sounds

Not to rain on the parade but the coyote uses the dingo’s howls (maybe slightly pitch shifted? Hard to tell), I’ve heard them so much in-game there’s no way I wouldn’t recognise them haha. Still better than if they had just straight wolf sounds though I guess.

Besides that, really impressed with the bush dogs honestly, it shows Frontier is still not afraid to put a lot of effort into making an animal unique. Flamingo also looks phenomenal.

Imagine if they had just given us western Planet Coaster scenery for this pack... still more usefull than 50 paper flags. And the audacity to call it seperate pieces when they give us 5 version with strings attached, 5 versions of strings, 5 versions without strings etc...
That's playing dumb with your customer base for sure.

Watching through again they do still make some unique sounds, including a higher pitched howl that I think is definitely coyote, but with the dingo howls also used. Cesar Create’s video is the one I can hear them the best in for now.

Happy to see the saki being walkthrough (just so my plan on using them is still working)
I don't know if it's common for the rhea to be walktrough aswell, but I would have liked it so they can easily go in the petting area with the lama and alpaca, but oh well.
Bush dogs are the hidden gem of the pack, starting to really like them.
All animals look great tbh.

Finally gonna get a DLC pack at launch again, HYPE

Catching up with the showcase videos now, overall I think they've given me a slightly more optimistic look on this pack than I would've had otherwise.

All the extra animations they added for the bush dog are ADORABLE! Upon further reflection I do think their heads are a little large, but other than that, they're living up to all my expectations. Definitely the star of the pack. The other animals all look good too, aside from the rhea's inaccurate wings, which I do hope get addressed.

And I guess I'm squarely in the minority again, because I actually love the new scenery? I guess I just really like Mexican-themed stuff.
