🐧 Planet Zoo: Aquatic Pack arriving 8 December! 🐧

In the Planet Zoo: Aquatic Pack, you'll meet five stunning, iconic animals, including four deep swimming animals and one exhibit animal which will arrive with a new exhibit landscape! Get ready to meet the wonderful Diamondback Terrapin, charming Giant Otter, beautiful Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman, brilliant Grey Seal and adventurous King Penguin. With the introduction of deep swimming, which we will be sharing more on very soon, these animals will come with their own challenges, as they have specific needs you'll need to keep in mind when building their habitats, to keep them happy and safe.

I don't want to look like an ungrateful whiner who hates penguins and otters but...

I'm surprised by the diamondback terrapin, it is maybe the most beautiful little turtle in the world!! Thanks, I love terrapins! 😍

Is it just me but did I see an education board for the sloth bear? It is a blink and you miss it moment.

Where did you see that? I saw one for the caiman but didn't see any bear signs. Also there was a sun bear in the developer video but I haven't seen or heard mention of a sloth bear anywhere.

These are so beautiful!
They weren't on my wish list, but I'm so glad Planet Zoo will be including them. They'll be a beautiful addition. They're native to my country, too.

These Turtles are really beautiful. I wish we could have something like a small Pond for them additional to the Option of keeping them in a Palundarium. It would also be absolutely amazing if we could keep them together with bigger Animals (I think I saw small Turtles together in a Enclosure with Tapirs once)

I'm really excited about this. We have Grey Seals near where I live on the Lincolnshire coast and they're adorable, but PENGUINS!!!!!!!!!!
One of my absolute favourite animals. I've been a rubbish Planfam member and not played Planet Zoo since the start of February, but after 10 months, I'm so firing it up again. I can t wait to get some penguin.
I actually want to squeal.

I believe the terrapin is the exhibit animal and the caimen is a habitat animal. Definitely 4 habitat and 1 exhibit and it seems unlikely to be the other way round?

The Terrapin is indeed an exhibit animal and the King Penguin, Giant Otter, Grey Seal, and Dwarf Caiman are habitat animals.

And super cute!

I found fullscreen screenshot of otters posted by Frontier.
I’m so happy with this species - I know Frontier would never make everyone happy with the species choice but I am always so grateful for every additional species in the game they add. For me 4 habitat species is enough but I would just like to see DLC more often. I just cant wait to see those new animals and foliage for myself.

Gunnara manicata - OMG - I'm SUPER happy with everything, but especially this - best plant and ideal for boggy envinrons - bring on the swampy plants and aquatics - fantastic preview Frontier - 🐟🐠🍀 Wait - there's Cyrtostachys renda - lip stick palms, Typhonodorum sp. (I grow these), , Beaucarnea recurvata - (grow these too) Pony Tail palms and more - INSANE! Amorphophallus (grow these and worked at a nursery that had one flower just like the one in the photo's - PS they really stink like rotting flesh!) - cannot wait for all of the amazing plants - thank you - made my year Frontier. And the giant swamp tree roots and swamp root bits . . . Water Hyacinth . . . And the Aquatic plants.

Seriously every time y'all announce a new pack and update you raise the bar all over again!

I would not have suspected the Dwarf Caiman, and I love that! I love getting surprised by a lesser known species! And yes I'm ecstatic about the penguins, they are my favorite animal, but low key I'm overjoyed to get more attention to the aquatic biome in general and especially to get more plants for it!

Same here. I'm hopeless when it comes to identifying plants. Like, I can identify a maple tree and a dandelion.* That's about it. LOL.

(*I'm exaggerating slighty here.)
Same. Roses - I know what they look like. and pine trees to. I think. Or are those fir trees? That's...about it. (I exaggerate too but my friends and family who have green thumbs would tell you that's really not that far from the truth). But seriously, weeping willows will be a great addition.

Yep. I know nothing about plants and never will, but I appreciate when someone point out their specialty for me.
Plus side of not being a plant nerd though: I use them in Planet Zoo based on how they look and not if they can grow in that region. Being a player that leans more towards realism on other aspects, that is kind of an relief. :D

My love of plants and Greenhouses went hyper after leaving High School and I studied Horticulture and Botany when I was younger at Melbourne Uni - Burnley Campus and now have lots of love for Aquatic plants - have around 17 ponds and water features around the house (and the Red Belly Black Snakes that love the frogs) (previously have worked at a wholesale Aquatics Nursery here in Queensland). Cannot help what the heart wants, so soooooo excited to see the plants - plants kinda come first for me - then rides 🚡🚠🚝and then animals. Love these upcoming inclusions to this amazing game though - the Seals and Penguins WOW - PS - very excited to be able to build the light house structure - looks amazing too.
Long live the Aquatics . . .

Thinking about the animals in this pack, i think a platypus would have been a great enrichment for a aquatic pack too.

Would love to see it in the future. Sadly it hasnt appeared in the australia and the aquatic pack yet.

Also Beavers would have been really cool too!

Like some people said before: In this pack is so much potential for some more really iconic animals.
