Absolutely, I have been working on a revamp vision of Miami Seaquarium thru Planet Coaster for quite some time. The only thing I can say, is that it will be difficult to reconcile the artistic style of Planet Zoo with the introduction of real life aquarium videos. I have well over 800 stationary 4k clips of aquarium tanks from all over the world and very few of those would blend well with Planet Zoo. The beautiful lighting in Planet Zoo along with the style of the game would clash with real world images and videos. In Planet Coaster, using architectural props thru the TMT feature this was not a problem. But we should see, I will definitely give it a try.

This images are actually from Planet Zoo using the habitat educational board already available in the game. The African elephant educational display was created using two boards stacked over each other, with this new and amazing upcoming feature that Planet Zoo will release, the possibilities will be endless as we will have so many different sizes of screens. With a little creativity, everything now is possible from custom exhibit signs, zoo related wall arts, mosaics, exhibit backgrounds, murals, realistic menus for restaurants and cafes, and everything else anyone can think of.
First of all, this is simply fantastic news. Please pass on to the dev team our thanks for continuing to bring new mechanics to the game and to keep innovating!
I do have one question, as someone who is unfamiliar with this system as I did not play Planet Coaster. Will we be able to use the same billboard size for multiple images, or will it just be one image for one billboard item?
Also, so glad to hear about custom ambiance speakers coming. I have been clamoring for more ambiance sounds in the game for a long time, so it's great to know we will have the capability to add whatever sounds we wish! I will be removing all of the suggested sounds in my small changes and suggestions thread in it's next iteration, after this update.

This is a great question Bearcat9948 there is nothing stopping you in Planet Coaster from uploading the same image to every size of billboard available. However as Chante mentioned giving specific image sizes for each billboard, using the recommended image sizes will allow for the maximum level of image quality. However you can easily adapt any image to the recommended size you are trying to sue, thru a number of aps. This is of course in relation to Planet Coaster, but I'm hoping PZ will follow in a similar fashion.
Maybe Chante can talk to us a little bit more about this, but excellent question as it was also something I would love to know more about.

Hello! We currently have a variety of screen assets that we will be adding in, and we will be updated the Conservation boards, Exhibit screens, and Habitat screens.Will there be more than just screens though? I'm more interested in things like wooden or plastic signs

Another question though, I can understand the images not being saved to workshop blueprints, but what about full zoo downloads? It would be a bummer if people had to download additional files to experience the zoo I created..
We cannot integrate custom images into zoo saves, but the hookup information will be there. This means that when upload a blueprint or zoo to the Steam Workshop, and they place their files somewhere for you to download, you just need to pop them in the correct directory for the game and the game will look for the appropriate images.
Hayo! We have a selection of provided images, including the existing educational Habitat images, which you can adjust as you fancy. I have put the custom image sizes on my original post, as an edit - so they're just at the bottom for you to see.

I better start ramping up on finishing my current zoo so I can start a new zoo on the DLC!
This is an exciting feature for the game, but personally not for me. I think this is going to bring a lot of players back and specifically creative builders who want to make complex realistic zoos. For me, I'll probably never use them.
One quick question though, will there be variable education sign options in the built in game (like how PlanCo did with the facility signs) that you can apply to the already in game education signs?
I cant wait for the DLC! Hopefully March 23rd

Really good update. All of the news seems to point to some awesome changes but I especially love it that you can use your own animal screenshots on the habitat info boards. I am certain people will come up with some good looking ideas for the education boards as well.

So we are getting 1m, 2m and 4m screens that don't need to be linked to an animal (and won't educate about it either). The current education board is 2m and the exhibit info board is a bit smaller than 1m. Here you can get an idea of the current sizes we have. The new small 1m TV will have the width of the image of the conservation board, but with a much smaller height. I think that's going to be very useful.
