I thought that the IUCN still counts the Caucasian badger as Meles meles, thanks for confirming itThe most recent IUCN assessment still classifies the Caucasian badger as Meles meles, which corresponds to the distribution map in the game, but for some reason the listed countries in the Zoopedia, as well as the Asia tag is missing. My guess is they took the country information from Wikipedia, which only lists countries for Meles meles meles, but at the same time uses the IUCN map which includes the Asian range.

The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species
Established in 1964, the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species has evolved to become the world’s most comprehensive information source on the global conservation status of animal, fungi and plant species.www.iucnredlist.org
Wikipedia articles become quite a mess each time a new study comes out, therefore I'd recommend Frontier to follow the most recent IUCN assessments, as long as there is no "Needs updating" annotation in the latest assessment, which the badger doesn't have.
Guests seem to love my restaurant even when it is located in a (usually) 'dead zone'. Did you connect your restaurant to a path?, is there a vendor assigned?, do you have electricity? And did you place tables AND connect them to the restaurant? Guests will pass the vendor, go through the aisle through the black wall piece and magically appear at a table.I love that update and DLC! But is there anybody else having issues with restaurants? Guests are not using it, they walk right to it and turn before getting to the vendor and walk away. Any ideas?![]()
I found you have to do it like this - or it does not work - and then check that the path is actually connected - it seems to not work a lot. I have to go and check everything again for it seems to not connect the first time and be not be as quite straight forward and easy as it could be.And did you place tables AND connect them to the restaurant?
We reported that as a bug during early access, I think it's just that. A small bug.But ... but ... the non grid modern glass pieces aren't transparent like their grid relatives. I don't mean the opaque glass pieces (which I'm also greatful to see non-grid options) but the ones that are named and designed to look like the standard, clear modern glass items. The new non-grid items are transluscent white without a flexicolor option. So, they don't match.![]()
I really would like to see secondary habitat gates added to the game, along with waist height gates for smaller animals.I finally had time to play with the update and dlc some more and I really love the deer, was actually hoping for those, and the new plants and none grid pieces are amazing and very useful. Though, those and the new railing pieces (which are also great basic and versatile additions) made me yet again realize just how much this game is still missing the most basic things and less theme-park style scenery. I really, really hope that we'll finally get something akin to a backstage pack or update that'll add those in so we can finally build some awesome behind the scenes stuff without using like 100 tiny pieces for one gate or fence that'll drive performance into the ground sooner or later. Same goes for the still missing playground things btw. they'd be a much appreciated addition as well.
Another thing that would do so much for the game is secondary habitat gates. It's such a pain to create large habitats for a variety of animals still and being able to add several gates to one habitat would really help with the infrastructure of our whole parks.
Smaller gates would be great…. Multiple gates would too but I think the programming of how staff interact with habitats is very bound up with the gates (e.g., changing from a path-based navigation system to a hit box system) which would make this very difficult to do… I’m pretty sure we’ve been told it won’t happen (though I’m not certain)I really would like to see secondary habitat gates added to the game, along with waist height gates for smaller animals.
Also please a Glass Version of the Guest Gate. It would be so useful as Entrance for BuildingsI really would like to see secondary habitat gates added to the game, along with waist height gates for smaller animals.
We need lots of different types of guest gates; glass, metal, solid wood, and so on... I'm tired of making buildings out of brick and metal, only to use doors that look like they belong on a decorative fence...Also please a Glass Version of the Guest Gate. Noticed the same thing. It is weird, I think at least the females should be able to climb it, otherwise it is kind of not that useful object if only one animal within enclosure can use it, while it takes alot of space.Probably it's just bad luck, but I have only seen the adult male ibex using the new climbable rock. Has anyone seen a female or baby ibex using it?
Also, barriers should rise over guest gates as they do over staff gates. It’d also be nice if both (especially guest gates) could be elevated. We need lots of different types of guest gates; glass, metal, solid wood, and so on... How it works is you place the restaurant, connect it to a path etc and then you click on the restaurant. There in the menu you first place the tables. Once that is done, you go back to the restaurant menu and choose connect tables. And then it should work.I can't figure out how to attach the restaurant tables to a restaurant? I don't see a button or menu option anywhere. Halp?
