I've been to Australia. I've even been to 4 Australian zoos. By now with all the packs that we already have I could build a pretty decent bit of Australia zoo or Sydney zoo. But if it's different for the area that you are from I'm sorry, and am happy for you that you like this pack.I appreciate that not everyone realises this but Australia and New Zealand have extremely strict biosecurity regulations. This means that the range of animals available to their zoos is much more limited than in Europe for example.
Okay, so they added an animal that is rarely showcased in zoo's, sounds like a good thing to me.And the Kiwi, which is represented in very very few zoo's globally.
I agree with you this is likely. The thing is, after following the game for all this time and buying every single DLC, it would be a shame if PZ never reached its full potential for amazingness by the omission of birds.Birds are very likely going to be the main hook for Planet Zoo 2. I can't think of any other reason for the radio silence on them being added to the game now.
It's a decent pack, though I'm more interested in the building pieces than the animals.
Agree. I'm happy to see birds getting some attention, even if they're not to my personal preference, but the lack of diversity is really odd. Even if we can't have aviary birds for whatever reason, there are so many other types of habitat birds that could be included, not just penguins and ratites.Ehhh
Yes and no.
I'm happy we got two more birds and two in the same pack!
But they are both more of the same we already have ingame ( the kiwi being a bit more special but still another ratite from Oceania)
The main problem still remains. We lack variety in types of habitat birds ( no pelican, no duck, no swan, no crowned crane, no storks, no ibis, no spoonbill, no pheasants or other galliformes, and no secretary) and we still haven't got any flying bird.
I agree, I'm not much of a fan of the idea of a PZ2, just give us a HUGE update with birds, aviary builds and one with Aquariums and tanks build and PZ can go on for many more years. Do we really need a PZ2 for that ?I agree with you this is likely. The thing is, after following the game for all this time and buying every single DLC, it would be a shame if PZ never reached its full potential for amazingness by the omission of birds.

Well I agree, but still it's better than none. There is still some possibilities those birds or at least some of them might come into the game. Pelicans, darwin rhea still have a good possibility of coming into the game. Other birds, chances are getting slim honestly.Ehhh

This is our second "Islands" pack. I don't think we will see another islands pack, not called like that anyway and most likely not from this part of the world again. If we get another Islands pack will probably be Caribbean themed.I'm now thinking that the tree kangaroo is so popular that it could be held back for an eventual islands pack Along with a manatee, pelican, coconut crab, turtle... I'd say, make it an animal pack for sure (because we've got multiple island themed building sets now) and include the Hawaiian nene, puffin, and why not a Walrus too.
Yes it was necessary.
Penguins weren’t actually represented fine.

This is Planet Zoo, not Planet Northern Hemisphere Zoo.
The species might not be to everyone’s liking but for me, and I’m sure others too, this pack is transformational. It makes making a moderately realistic New Zealand zoo possible for the first time and significantly adds to the options for an Australian zoo.
None. Unless we get bird expansión at the end.The habitat animals look great but I have this growing concern that if an Oceania pack doesn't include lorikeets or budgies, what pack will? I think this was such a missed opportunity that Frontier may be planning to save all flying birds (maybe all tiny mammals and fully aquatic creatures too) for PZ2. That would truly make me a sad camper.
I really see this as only realistic option. I mean this went back to Tropical pack, but people keep hopefully expecting birds to come up out of blue alongside regular pack.None. Unless we get bird expansión at the end.
A birds pack could have 'em :>The habitat animals look great but I have this growing concern that if an Oceania pack doesn't include lorikeets or budgies, what pack will? There is actually a great point there too. Both flamingo's and cranes are flying birds that the game pretends can't fly (are clipped) and that's ok by me.Yes. Flamingos lol
Maybe another crane.
Doesn't matter how many (or how little) words we use. We will still not get any more birds that are not ratites or penguins.
