Planet Zoo: Twilight Pack and Update 1.11 Out Now! 🦇

Wow, the Wombat looks great when it's burried. Like a really nice River Rock👍
Lol. I read that without reading the quote in your post and was ... a little concerned :D

Hello hello, me again! Just jumping in to say dev is aware of this and it'll be fixed in a future update.
That's great, thank you!

I must say, well ... the bats totally won me over  I spent the whole evening creating a cave for them, I'm not even finished and I think with disabled walls it is pretty flexible. I admit that some flying animations look a bit odd, but I definitely don't mind them being on loops. And how CUTE they are! I just watched two of them munching on their fruit snacks for a while... I understand why people are disappointed that they are not flying freely, but I like it nonetheless. They move around in their exhibit, they interact with their enrichment and thanks to the customization you can make it look as if they were in a habitat. So all fine for me, I'm looking forward to whatever is going to be added next for this exhibit type. I also fell in love with the new keeper talk interactions. I think I gave the exhibits more attention today than ever before in this game, so well done! That being said, would it not make sense for the keepers to be able to handle our lovely bats, too? And I'm on team "add the snakes" as well.

On another note... do we have a poop bug? My habitats are FULL of it, the dirt heatmap is completely red, but the habitat cleanliness doesn't seem to be affected and the animals don't get diseases. But it looks a bit... unpleasant! :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, alright. This seems so weird...

I have placed a (non-walkthrough) bat-exhibit in my already existing Zoo and the few people who showed up turned away as soon as they were arriving their "viewing-spot". So I created a new Sandbox-Zoo with only the bat-exhibit in it, and the guests could - in theory - view it from all four corners. They only chose to look into it from one side. I built a lot of shops on the opposite side, so they would go there. And there it was the same issue like in my already existing zoo. They went to a "viewing-spot" at the exhibit border and then left immidiatly. The "I want to see the "Fruit Bat"-wish was not fulfilled for them. And it doesn't matter what side it is. In my first game they were prefering the one side, in the existing game they where prefering the other side. Because i was - after all this research - building another way around the exhibit in my existing game people came to it like crazy.

So, yeah, please fix it. And not hearing the wonderful sounds of these animals from outside when using mesh fence should be fixed too. Thank you very much and you all are awesome!

As far as I know the Snakes will be adjusted so they can be held. Not sure though if only the Boa Constrictor or also the Yellow Anaconda. Couldn't find any Footage of a Ambassador Anaconda. Maybe they are too big🤔

Did you already try to connect those View Points to it (don't know what they are called in english. If I remember correctly it should look like a thin round Pedestal with a Camera Symbol on Top)

God damn it I'm experiencing crashes when I try to load my save file. Game is verified, so it's not that. No mods. Haven't tried a new zoo yet because I'm waiting for the old temperate Europe map to come back.

Hang on...the game is telling me I do have mods. I scrubbed it, though, long before the update. How can I be sure the mods are all gone?

10 minutes into game and animals are escaping like hell. Even when their habitat has no escape points, they just escape through solid walls and barriers, over heights they can't climb and through massive rocks. Yay, since this is a franchise zoo, it has lost lots of money now to catch the animals again.
Same here, except mine suddenly have escape points in half a dozen habitats that have been stable for years IRL. Patch notes say they "removed inaccessible jump escape points from habitat heatmap"... and almost all my new escape points are jump-related.

Has someone else the problem, that habitats can't be connected anymore, too? I just tested it with 2 zoos and it doesn't work anymore.😕

Am I the only one whose game is constantly crashing? I cannot make new maps, I cannot load my saves, nothing!
Haven't had any actual crashes, but the first time I loaded a save after the update the "calculating traversable area" bar that comes up during each load took literally ten minutes to complete. On subsequent loads it was back to normal speed; maybe an issue that will self-correct after one successful load.
Also, my habitats suddenly have escape points in half a dozen habitats that have been stable for years IRL. Patch notes say they "removed inaccessible jump escape points from habitat heatmap"... and almost all my new escape points are jump-related. I suspect these two problems are related

I have no idea why but my game is working extremely slowly after the update. I am unable to play at all. Any advice?
Ps. Removed all mods before installing.
Mine took a good 15 minutes to load the first save after the update, but regained its normal speed on subsequent loads.
