Hello Zookeepers!

Update 1.0.4 is now available and will address some of the issues you raised in your feedback following Update 1.0.3.

Update Notes:
  • Revert increased refund costs
  • Fixed sorting issue in the animal management list

Hayo all! Thanks for your feedback so far! We're actually not removing refunds from Planet Zoo entirely, the team is working on balancing it now and are working on a feature where you will be given a breakdown on why refunds are taking place. We don't want our community to be confused when playing, so this breakdown will tell you why the refunds are happening, making it easier for you to improve your zoos! We are looking to implement this in a future update, the team are working on it now!

But I have a question. From the note it sounds as if the refunds were no bug but inteded - so you changed them according to feedback?
Because I wouldn´t mind if its just a bit harder now if I knew it was a feature. The only reason why I was confused was because there was no hint in the patchnodes that it intentional.

Just a bit confused :) Because at the end, I like more challenge !
On to many more updates. Will test it now :)

Honestly, at the moment I feel sorry for you all. I think the harder management part with the refund was a good idea. Because, if I find the game management easy,than it could use some extra challenge- I am a bad manager ;)

I think they were raised a little bit, but due to the problem that guests walk on staff paths, animals escaping more and other new bugs, the refunds then were to high. As path and other problems seems to take longer to fix, they lowered refunds again. But that's just a guess.


THIS 👆 Seems like a good in between solution, let's hope I can survive the animals escapes, long enough now to try and fix the broken parts every time one escapes, if this is possible at least.
 
I hope that the conclusion of the "refunds issue based on bugs" isn't "Players hate high refunds (= challenge) and we'll therefore keep them low from now on", but "Let's reduce the refunds until we were able to fix the bugs causing surreal ammounts of them and let's try to balance them again after everything related works as intended."
 
Fixing refunds was fun. Made you focus on guest thoughts more and try and work on improving negative feedback. Took me 2 hours to go back through my old parts and tweak them.
