Then make it so that it can be done. Makes it much easier to create indoor habitats.I think the issue with that idea is the fact that paths can't be built flush up against barriers, so they could never align to the same grid.

I think it's worth raising it as feedback. However it wouldn't be as easy I expect to change descriptions Vs individual figures stored in a DB across an application. That's two different systems. It would probably be far more complex to write some kind of templating system to switch out the dynamic values within the zoopedia text based on the unit setting. Obviously take it with a pinch of salt as I don't know how it was done, but as an outsider, I could see this being the issue.I'm liking the update, although Player Settings for Units (Meters VS Feet etc.) .....why only Metric "Zoopedia descriptions" for the Animals....not cool, I would have thought that with everything you've done for this update, that would have been a easy edit to implement.
Research Shared Across All Franchise Zoos
Completed research will be shared across your Franchise. If you load into a Franchise Zoo, the research data will be saved so that the highest levels of research will be carried over between all Franchise zoos. It's important to note, that if a Staff Member was researching a research category where the jump in levels is less than 1, then when you load into the zoo, they will no longer be assigned to that research and you will need to re-assign them. In comparison, the research should continue if, for example, they were researching level 1 Chinese Pangolins, and level 1 was completed in another zoo, then when you load back into the zoo they should be researching level 2.
In order to make sure you've got all of your research data from across your Franchise you'll need to load into each zoo individually. This is due to the fact that if we were to do this in the background, it could create incredibly long loading times for you, so to make the game more seamless when loading zoos, your Franchise zoos will load research individually once you load into them. Once your Franchise zoos are all up to date, this will create a new baseline of research shared across them, until you upgrade research further.
As someone who's working on a huge breeding project and have an interest in genetics, I am PUMPED for better genealogy! That extra bit of genetic info is gonna be awesome![]()
Interesting. Maybe this means we will get new Birds soon. Maybe even flying ones

After reading the post again, I have a question about this: Will the research automaticly cross over all the zoo's, or is this an option you can choose? (so if I don't want the research to cross over and keep it like it is right now in the game, is that possible? In 1 zoo I have researched everything, but I like the challenge in new zoo's to research things again)
Thanks for the explanation! I realy hope in an other update you can set the research level per franchise zooWhen the update becomes available you will need to load your Franchise Mode saved game with the most research completed and then load into your other zoos. This will sync up the research levels going forward. This only needs to be done once. There is no option to keep the Franchise zoos from having their own research levels with this update.
