No. Regardless of how they implement birds, we need some kind of new containment facility for them, and such a facility would come as part of a free update.Do you think thereās any chance this pack will introduce our first birds alongside the Capybara but is that just wishful thinking?
I mentioned in another thread, the word "shower" vaguely looks like the word "howler". And for as much of a stretch as that is, it's the only thing I've been able to come up with aside from vague associations with rainforests or bathing behaviors. I'm really stumped on that one too. Really hope we get an update today instead of the possible Thursday timeline I've seen people floating. Definitely don't want these hints to nag us all until then.Vague thought re: the showerhead - I'm wondering if this would be a more latin america pack and therefore include Raccoons aka Wash Bears? Struggling to come up with anything with the word "shower" in it itself?
Definitely!! one of the animals I most want to see in this dlc!! It's my second favorite animalSloth would be a dream come true
Even though I'd absolutely love more Petting Zoo Animals, I'd prefer the Quanaco or Vicunja over that oneTooth - Alpaca (goofy looking teeth)
I think that flying birds will never be introduced into the game for the following reasons: even right now aviares can already be perfectly created with the help of mesh panels and the flight mechanism is, for sure, available in the core of Cobra engine but the only big problem is that of birds that cannot follow the same cycle of development, like other mammals in the game. Bird's chicks are born from the egg in a nest, they are fed by their parents until they become adults. This mechanic cannot be reproduced in the game. In the mechanics of the game as it is now, mammalian puppies feed themselves. Even reptiles follow the same cycle. You cannot avoid this fact and an alternative solution that fits the current mechanism of the game cannot be created. You can't create the chick stage for flying birds. This is the big difference why, I think, flying birds will not be introduced as DLC in PZ. It's a dream that I don't think has a chance to become a reality in the current context of the game.Hereās a question about aviaries in the gameā¦
If Frontier was to introduce birds into the game is it likely to be in a specific pack or could they just start adding one or two into each pack?
The former would mean it has a proper moment like the Aquatic pack, the latter would mean they could integrate them over time and debug them as they go along. A designated pack could be a real risk if they are buggy to begin with.
If this mechanic didnāt exist in JWE2 Iād understand that maybe the investment wouldnāt be worth the pay off financially at this point in the games development, but now they have developed it for that game it baffles me why they wouldnāt implement it in Planet Zoo - it would be such a money maker. Even if fans didnāt like all of the animals in a pack, they may still buy it purely for the couple of birds it includes.

There were different Kind of hints yesterday. There were clear ones like the Cabypara and the crocodile. There was a bit less vague one with the spectacled bear. And there were more or less unclear ones and the sloth idea was that two tooth is a play of words. TWO TOed slOTH.I donāt see what about teeth makes people think sloth. They have 4 canines like most other mammals and several more teeth afterwards.

My idea was that Sloth was a member of Xenarthra family, which all have very unique form of teeth.I donāt see what about teeth makes people think sloth. They have 4 canines like most other mammals and several more teeth afterwards.
