Played a Session after some pause - and old Bugs still welcome me back

Stray fire?.. Did you hurt them accidentally?.. Did they hurt you accidentally?

I've had the same problem intermittently over the past few years and I've never so much as looked at Security in a dismissive manner. Usually in a High RES though. It hasn't been anywhere near as bad as it was but it happened again, last weekend.

Don't even start. Recently I have installed Morrowind to break the monotonny of Skyrim
Samantha demands that you take this back!

When I say I'm playing Skyrim, what I really mean is that I'm playing NexusMods. Hey, I just got my gaming PC, so this is a brand new experience for me! (That and I never finished the DLC on PS4, so I actually do have new content to explore.)

:( Skyrim and monotony in the same sentence :(

Sadly, even th ebest title played over and over and over again turns like that. Over the years I made lots of characters, played different styles and almost every time I ended being fulfilled Dragonborn, Civil War Hero, every guild headmaster, omni-weapon master. To the point that my few last playthroughs were totally skip the story, guilds and focus on exploration and radiant quests. I was so familiar with the zone, story, spells, etc. I needed some change.

You don't want to see my army of characters. Believe me, you really don't want.
Also - she doesn't seem very disturbed and demanding. Shee looks like someone who want to invite me for a Honeymead contest.

So you say you can play any other version?
Curious...

I have so much modded my game that when I got Special Edition I left it after 30 minutes due to lack of my mods which I treat as a base game already.

I went from jailbreak to dragon slayer to saver of the world (along with becoming arch mage and leader of companions) all on PS3. I got special edition on PS4, which was a huge visual upgrade, but I couldn't get back into it like I first had. Now I have it on PC, and the mods change everything. Well, that and a multi-year break which makes some of the old missions feel a bit fresher.

I'm also playing a different character, skill and combat wise, than I ever did before, so that also makes this play through unique and challenging (no more stealth attacks with legendary enchanted bows, except for hunting animals).

After I left Amiga 500 I started gaming on PC and doing it ever since. Saw rise of the consoles, never really got into it. Tried playing Oblivion on X-Box once - felt totally awkward, too much used to mouse and keyboard, their freedom and accuracy. Also - I blame consoles (their limited input commands) for gutting various UI designs.

So, starting from TES III Morrowind I'm following the story exclusively on PC, enjoying all the benefits, mods included.

Opposite to me. I have Skyrim installed for years already and came back to Tamriel on fairly steady basis, every few months for few weeks. I have wiped all my saves at least 5 times, most of them were 200-250 saves strong (implying heavy investment into the story). I mentioned boredom due to it - it felt that I know every nook and cranny since I started it so many times. Luckily mods exist so I can enjoy something totally unrelated to main story.

I still enjoy the world and fantasy, so much I decided to re-fresh Morrowind. Almost ancient title but add unofficial GFX patch and this games is almost comparable to Skyrim, visually wise. And gameplay... I dare to say it sometimes beats it.

Been there, seen things.

As in Morrowind and Oblivion I tend to play panzer shield&sword tanks, in Skyrim I discovered fantastic bow mechanic. Silent assassin from afar. Smith upgraded bow, sneak for multiplier dmg... But it get dull quickly. So next I played as:
  • shield and sword
  • pure mage
  • sneaky dagger assassin
  • unarmored, rag clothed thief
  • spell reflect shielded mage
  • master summoner
  • pure Nord (ancient nord armor and weapons)
  • jack of all trades, some bow, rest sword, sometimes spells
  • Dragonborn, melee weapon + shouts
  • and some strange experiments, including cheats to skip tedious unocking. Fun on its own.

Skyrim is great. But for me, for now, bit overused. Tempted to get back to ED and progress bit but now I'm deep into EVE.

Wow, you've definitely played a lot, so I don't blame you for being tired of it. I've only done a couple of playthroughs myself. I did the destruction mage thing and the conjurer archer stealth assassin. I started using sword and board on PS4, which is a new tactic to me (I've preferred ranged weapons and spells in past builds), basing a character on Wonder Woman, but didn't get too far.

Now I'm playing a force-user, something between a Jedi and a Sith (Gray Jedi I think), with emphasis on one handed / dual wield and force-like magic (including Sith lightning). I'm purposefully limiting myself by not taking advantage of non-force-related spells, no shields (blocking with a sword is more cool anyway), no "smith 1000 Dwarven bows to hit 100 skill in one day" tricks, etc. This makes the game harder and more challenging, but fun.

Oh, and Dawnbreaker is my currently version of a light saber, until someday I can make my own :D

I have about 60 mods, but my favorite is Legacy of the Dragonborn. Its a museum in Solitude that displays all of my trophies and accomplishments.
