Checked into this, and it appears we had a miscommunication when that particular item was added to the FAQ last year. As it stands right now, we do not have plans for such a feature with minor factions. Will be removing it from the FAQ.

Hi Brett, for factions that are already registered but were not added in the last batch and have not received any mail, should we contact you or is this in progress ?

I found out there is such thing as a group leader chat. I am a group leader, how do I get access to it?

In terms of power play mechanics, what can and cannot suggest for potential mechanics unique to our Power should we become it.

Are we going to be tied into the mechanics akin to what we've already seen so far in power play or can the new power(s) get away with more unique playstyles.

Could you clarify what you mean by faction swapping? I'm in the middle of trying to convince the people in the TS I frequent to form a group alongside me, followed by a minor faction, and that's the one bit of the limitations that the meaning's unclear for for me. Hoping to have everything all figured out before I actually get the application in, to make the process as smooth as possible.

I believe the game mechanics will be identical to PP...the only input I would expect would be on the Power's Module. Basically, if a Player Group becomes a Power, they cede their group to Powerplay, the locusts, and the devs.

I will be getting to you all this week tho those who have sent an email before April 11th. Don't worry about using the form.

Currently is limited to Triple Elite ranked minor factions/groups. In the future, i think we will be revisiting the discord chat access.

Making your minor faction as one faction type, when the faction of the system is something else.

Sorry to be picky, but that's still a little ambiguous (to me anyway).

Are you talking about major faction allegiance (Fed vs Empire vs Alliance vs Independent), and would an Independent faction in a major-power-aligned system count as swapping? (I'm guessing so, just want to make sure...)
Does faction swapping also apply to the government type (Democracy, Corporate, ...) - do we need to match the current system government type with ours?

I'm currently in the early stages of looking for a home system for a possible minor faction myself, just hoping to know what restrictions we should keep in mind.
