Please, make kerbs on paths toggleable!

I think they will add custom music for rides in the next update. Hopefully they will fix their mistakes and fix new bugs that happen with new updates.

it is mind boggling, since they haven't even adressed it. At least some statement on their shows like unlocked or so would be cool, but it always feels like they are tiptoeing around it.

It would be nice to know why. Just a hint on why its so hard to get a toggle. Whats involved to make it happen, simple or a total remake of hole path system ? Comunicate with us.

yes, a "we are working on it, but it takes some time" or even a " no can do" would be fine, at least we have some answers. But ourtight ignoring it feels bad.

Got this crushing answer today:

"It's a substantial amount of work to make this happen to a quality level we'd be happy with and the community would be happy with. Right now, there are no plans to add a toggle (as suggested in this thread), but I've fed back to the team the request for kerbless paths."

That is devestating news. Actually a "small" thing like this is a super big thing for me to even return to the game that I otherwise adore.

tbh im kinda happy they are looking into fixing the gamebreaking issues first. like the water coaster that was broken since release and couldnt have scenery correctly attached to it, made it pretty much useless. now we can finally start using that ride and theme it how we want. ive seen another couple of issues in the bug list that got adressed. i do hope however this is adresses in the next update or the update after as it would add to improving the visual aspect of our pathings. for me its ok to look at those ugly borderstones for some longer :)

i dont know maybe we can do a vote or a poll somewhere to show frontier how many people actually want this to be a feature? is there a voting feature here in this forum?

That is indeed sad to hear. This makes it sound like it's a rather complicated thing to add.

Personally I would love to have kerbless path's as well, Frontier is aware there are quite a few who have this on their wishlist. Hopefully we will see the option added someday.

Im not aware of such a feature, but it sounds like a rather good idea.

New sad more clear answer:
"We're not saying 'never' but right now it's not being worked on."

:cry::cry:

ugh....no offense, but i finally found the steam thread,
(@devs for the love that is holy, please dont answer those things in a obscure steam forum, when you have one of you own with a better structure or share the info, but if i hadn't found it by chance the info would be gone for me)

and please quote everything, not just the last part, since there are at least two explanation:

It may seem small, but its a bit thing on the development side. We're not saying 'never' but right now it's not being worked on.

so all in all, kerbless path seem to be more complicated than 'we think' and it is not a priority rn. This answer let me just hope that they look at it somewhere after may.

That's what the issue tracker is for. Once someone reports an issue and several people add their contribution to it, then it changes to confirmed and people can vote for it.

I know many people don't trust the issue tracker and the tool can be very confusing, but that's still the best option to express our wishes.

Edit: I just checked and it turns out that nobody has reported on the issue tracker that we can't remove kerbs on paths... Maybe it's not that important for most players.

or some people are more familiar with issue trackers.

Just an example: @work, the devs at work would 'slap me on the wrist' and i would get a 5 minute preaching that the issue track is for issues not feature requests. And this not the only thing, where i heard this exact sentence.

I admit I only posted a few issues, but mostly one if it were 'typical' bugs.

Not only this, but the black/yellow kerbs actually work in keeping guests away from certain areas. I mean, in the end it's not the biggest deal at this very moment, as I'm sure it'll all be fixed at some point in the future, but it's one of my pet peeves having guests walking through scenery and other objects.
