Post your weird systems!

This system was just too complicated...

wait... water giants can show up brown? I thought they only came in that blue and white flavor.

If you'll excuse me I need to go smash my head into the dashboard a few times.

I'm so sorry....

In the rarely-examined 'most hostile terraformable planet' category I found this little oddity.

It's a terraformable, oh sure the gravity, orbital period and rotation are reasonable...
But 776 kelvin? That's higher than the melting point of lead. 158 atmospheres will put any pressure cooker to shame, and has a fully poisonous atmosphere of carbon dioxide (with a dash of sulphur) for good measure.

Either TF technology is more impressive than we give the eggheads credit for, or someone at the astrographic society let a drunk temp analyze my data.

To be perfectly fair it does say "candidate" it doesn't definitively state that it CAN be terraformed, just that it's worth looking into for its potential.
EDIT: (that thing is never going to be terraformed though :p)

Hi all,

Just discovered this system :

Not sure you consider this as weird... but a giant with water based life and another with ammonia based life orbiting a neutron star, is this enough ? :D

An example of how close together some systems are near the core. Here CMDR Traveller_GG found two systems within 0.69LY of each other:

Lots of rings

What is red, white, and black all over? No, not the Daily Sport! But this system!

Big rings:

And this system had quite a few terraformables and water worlds...

I'm new to exploring (trailblazer at the mo), but found this today:

Not as impressive as some of the other systems here, but it was fun to explore!

And an interesting ring arrangement here:

Nothing weird about the system itself, but a very rare find indeed.

A system scanned by CMDR Erimus, which is Erimus' kickstarter account. Here's a young, inexperienced Erimus, before he had crossed the galaxy and made fame and fortune as an intrepid explorer.

A rare fledgling find :)

p.s. I stuck my name on the next planet ;)
