Post your weird systems!

Oh, isn't that cute? Gas giant with mass of two Earth masses and radius of 13,5k km.

P.S. No way to turn off russian translation for screenshot, you know :D

In regards to Earthlikes around Neutrons - once the Supernova stage is over and the star settles down to its degenerate phase, it's going to stay like that for a bloody long time, certainly long enough for life to develop. The remnants of its former system might well settle down into some of the stuff we see. That Earthlike might have been a water giant before the star went boom...

Astronomers keep finding really strange stuff. I'm happy to take what Stellar Forge throws out.

Plus... captured and migrating planets. Quite often I see outer system metallics that have odd orbits.

I think might end up being the "show off your systems" thread :)

For example:

Neutron star with 3 of 3 planets all terraformable (it's a word!)

Engage smug mode. Smug mode engaged.

Here's a puzzler for you. There is a black hole as the main star but then nothing on the system map. In reality there was a class III gas giant and some rocks. I fog horned this system multiple times so either its a glitch or the black hole was eating my sensor data :)

I've seen this a couple of times. It's not a bug. Everything is dark on the system map because there's no star to illuminate the celestial bodies.

Indeed! I ran into a system like this, and wondered if there were just a ton of black holes. But, then realized that black holes probably don't have little black hole "moons". I traveled to a dark gas giant, having to use a cluster of O and B stars to "see" it.

Not a weird system, but definitely a weird weather pattern in a recently-found water world.

A hurricane orbited by three other hurricanes. All four "eyes" are present.

Ive done a lot of exploring but this is the first time I se this type of Star, called Herbig Ae/Be ( its the small one)

Unless you are actually filtering in proto stars and you are in the core, those are pretty rare.
Found my first one the first time i ever checked out a proto star, then never did again until today, when i entered the core and tried to search for them (found alot)

So, here are a few from my last trip:

The RNG was lazy, so it just copy-pasted...

A nicely colorful Gas giant. I actually have never seen this combination of colors before. But considering the vasteness of the milkyway, it might be terribly normal anyway.

Well, burning space-egg has to go here too:

*Honk* - 18 new astronomical objects discovered. Cool, let's check the system map... eeeeewww....

I don't care what your mother calls you, you are NOT a Wolf-Rayet... Burning a brilliant blue my Asp...

When you should be in the region, I dare you to jump into this system:
Journey 2_0265.jpgJourney 2_0266.jpgJourney 2_0267.jpgJourney 2_0268.jpg
It's actually the first system I decided not to jump into. The prospect of a NS, WD and M class giant in close proximity in combination with more than 150mil of collected explo data scared me off...
If you decide to make the jump, please report back (if you can...);)

Found this planet today very close to its star. It's the closest one I've found I think at 0.01AU (semi major axis?)

Anyway, here it is through the rift

Aha . well iam far away from the core so hence I was surprised to find one :)
