Powerplay 2.0 Exploration weekly not working

Simple, and what should be a self-explanatory weekly.

"Sell 345,644 credits worth of exploration data in Amitrimpanu."

Did some exploring of nearby systems I wanted to explore at some point anyway. Managed to gather way more than needed, around 3.3 Million in a short time. Turned in "via a port's Universal Cartographics service."

Nothing... what?

I've already sent a support ticket to no avail... and I'm just screwed here?

There is a per-system threshold you need to be over for the UC data to generate merits and count for the mission. I am not too sure what exactly it is, but I have read figures around 300k to 500k. It doesn't matter if you sell a whole page worth 3 million if all the systems on that page are below the threshold.

I just collected and sold data where three of the systems I visited were over the threshold. None of them counted toward the mission. This is definitely not working, unless you have to find one individual item in one system that's over the threshold.

Synuefe CZ-J c11-7 was worth 1,282,132 and hasn't counted towards the goal of 243,042 credits on my weekly. The water world there by itself is worth over 700,000. I don't think Earth-likes are going to make a difference. Maybe when they fix this, they will be handy for ongoing missions.

It wasn't a historic scan that I was hoarding either. I just went out there to scan it today. Sold the data at LP 410-81, which is a Reinforcing system as it required in the mission. Nothing.

You sure the weekly didn't require selling in a specific system and you've missed that? Just asking. For my UC weekly, I scanned a system (don't remember which one) with a WW (mapped that one), the WW was worth like 600k, the whole system 1.3 million, and it fulfilled the task. But I had to sell in a specific system.

This is weird.

I am also having this issue. Weekly assignment says to sell a little over 200k exploration data in Beta-2 Tucanae. I have tried six times at more than one station with more than 1 million each time and it still is not giving me credit for any of it towards the assignment. Very frustrating.

Same problem here. I have to sell exploration data in Zeta Tucanae system, but whatever I do, it doesn't count towards the goal.
Last week I wasn't able to finish weekly tasks because I had to collect escape pods in a particular system, then hand in to the PP contact in the same system, but that didn't work either.
I'm going to get bored of this Powerplay 2.0 game very quickly if there are soooo many bugs in the game. :-/

I can understand why you'd ask. The mission just said to sell exploration data worth 243,042 credits to a Reinforcing system. LP 410-81 is Reinforcing at the moment. I see about 10 reports on the Issue Tracker for this particular difficulty, so I'll add to it and take the fail for that mission. Thanks for your help, though.

Are any of the weeklys working?

I need to deliver 400000cr worth of biological samples to Exobiology. 38million so far and nothing has counted.
I need to scan megaships in reinforcement systems. 4 scanned so far and none of them has counted.
I need to deliver classified power data to a system. 3 grabbed so far and none of them has counted.
I need to rescue escape pods in a particular system. 9 so far and none of them has counted.
I need to destroy 11 rival power members. That's complete from the get-go without me doing any combat whatsoever. I can't tell if I got the reward for that. I suspect not.

i would have thought although they don reg as completed immediately and if you have fulfilled what they req come the weekly tick on thursdays they will count
if not they are well an truly fracked up beyond all recognition atm

I've had this problem several times already. Just now again. Sold twice as much explo data as was required, in Reinforcement systems as the assignment said, freshly scanned stuff, NOTHING counted.

Explo stuff does not spark joy for me. I do it exclusively for the assignment merits. When I don't get these merits, I have just wasted my time.

Still broken as of 2024-12-19.
I'm reading all these discussions about a "minimum threshold" that's supposed to magically trigger inclusion in the mission counter, but nothing solid. Also the problem's been there ever since PP2.0 was launched, and a month later the mission description hasn't been updated to explain that there's a minimum? That's very, very weak.

It didnt work for me 1st time I tried, but then I went out and got more data swapped station in same system and it worked.

its new and from fd of course its not gonna work odyssey took a year or so b4 that worked as it should after it's release:ROFLMAO:
at least with the new ships they already have a tried and tested method for adding them to the game
