Because it's pretty obvious that there won't be a release today?

They aren't going to release Beta 6 now and the full release just hours later...what would be the point of releasing the Beta then?

Last week they said that they expect to release it this week depending on how Beta goes...expect, not promised. They aren't telling us anything yet simply because bugs are still being worked on and they don't know yet.
