News Powerplay Beta Date Update

These words are a very very good thing. ^_^
I am very much looking forward to the changes to turrets. I just hope the tracking speed on the large turrets is fast enough to hit eagles with proper pilot compensation with maneuvers. Will this be the case?
Also, I'm curious if there are any plans to address subsystem damage due to the current powerplant meta in PVP? Maybe you can hint at the possibility of total hull strength (including that gained from modules) applying protection to subsystems? Maybe even protection from the bulkheads? My armor tank is nearly completely useless in PVP in my Python despite 51m invested in milspec and two 5D armor plates (740 hull!). Powerplant = Death within literal seconds once shields are down.

I'm assuming this is to provide you fine gentlemen with ample time to upgrade to the latest oculus SDK and provide further optimisations for the VR community right? Right? Anyone? Er hello?
VR Focus did an interview with Braben recently, he says all new VR gear will be supported. Gotta be a good sign...

Thanks for the update. Take your time, better to delay and give yourselves time to tweak, tune and perfect.
Also if the Beta needs two weeks, three weeks then so be it. Better to take your time. 1.3 is shaping up to be an amazing update. Looking forward to Powerplay, Diamondback, Turrets.
My only disappointment is I will be away on holiday during Beta. But I will be watching this forum and keeping up to date. Will be so pumped up by the time I get back.

LOL, I typed something almost identical yesterday as an ironic repost to the unexpected tide of positive "take all the time you need" posts (of which I heartily approved given how much negativity we see sometimes), but I cancelled my post in the end because I was afraid people wouldn't get it
