As I said, I can't comment much on bugs I don't know about - or they are actual bugs or design oversight (which doesn't mean FD is required to do something about them pronto).
Also "5 min fix' isn't really solution there mostly.
What the ...zero minutes warning before slamming the server shut now? I'm ok so long as you have a 10 minute warning, but this last one

And since your server can't ever remember where I was last, I probably find myself back at the sun and can fly 16,000 Ls again, like my time is stolen or something.
Can I finally have that single player offline game nobody mucks around with unless I checked if the last patch was any good for ~2 weeks and then *CHOOSE* to manually download the patch and install it when I'm good and ready?
Having to play on someone else's server is the most annoying thing ever invented.

Also you got warnings at 25,20,25,10 and 5 - if you didn't see any of them then well....

we are on about the severs going back up for a few mins then shutting down

What does this permit thing mean? Do i get a system permit only in systems close around? Or do i have to do missions in close systems to get ther permit mission?

No, that was for the original planned patch, then the servers were running again, then a message came through "we have to take the servers off for a while to fix something else" I paraphrase but it was similarly casually worded then boom the server goes offline. My game wouldn't properly quit after that and had to force quit so I doubt it saved gracefully.

I was afk and had a whole bunch of timer warnings on the main menu that the servers would go down.
So there have been messages about it in the game.
These issues have only appeared since 1.3.x "update" - yes they are a bug.
I too had a whole bunch of messages and even a 3 minute warning also just as I was landing in a station.
that's the very nature of an unplanned situation i guess, instant kick is likely an 'oh ' situation, could be that the instant kick will have had a less dramatic effect on players than a 5min warning to kick. we'll likely never know.
