In game you got 30 mins warning - if you weren't in game you didn't see it

Also you got warnings at 25,20,25,10 and 5 - if you didn't see any of them then well.... :)

You should check your facts before you talk.

1st shut down had 30 minute warning
2nd shut down had 10 minute warning
3rd shut down had a 30 second warning
 
they told us servers where going back up

At 11:0 something there was a post saying there was a delay - have I missed a subsequent post saying all good before 11:30?

At the time of writing those were the facts I had - is the game up yet? I still don't have an upgrade message for the client.

The latest update has been delayed for a while and we'll let you know when it will go live. The servers will be back up as soon as possible but the update will come later. Thanks for your patience.

Increasing the mission limit to 15ly is great! This should also help in mission diversity a bit.

Next up, please introduce a few rare long-distance missions, say 70+ ly, for high explorer ranks. If possible, integrate them with a "locate on galaxy map" button.

Does the 20 limit include RES where asteroid chunks spawn on mass?
Or in other words: can you mine asteroids with a wing without despawning the chunks?
 
I followed the instructions as in they wont be back till 11:30 Uk therefore didn't rush to log back on - I guess if people are eager to get back on before the allotted outage window and they get booted out then there's no reason to complain. :)

Really... after FD told us its going back up, we shouldn't log on?

The galaxy servers will be down from 10.30PM for approximately one hour to allow us to update to 1.3.07.

The following changes are included in the update:

Server change log
- Fix for discovering and scanning new stellar bodies not always showing up on system map
- Fixed Hudson’s outfitting discount benefit
- Fixed cases where player received rank up message, but rank stayed the same

Client change log
- Fixed accidental pasting of clipboard contents when typing ‘V’ in the galaxy map search box (OSX)
- Increased radius of the sphere of systems used to generate missions from 10ly to 15ly, allowing all permit systems to be within range of at least one system that can give the permit
- Various text fixes
- Fix crash in PlanetNoiseTextures (OSX)
- Fix crash in IShipMining interface
- Fix crash in SheildEmitterModule
- Fix crash in GalaxyRenderManager (OSX)

Any chance we can get a "quality of life" type feature like being able to search for System security levels like we can for governments and stuffs?
 
No fix of
- BGS influence exploits
- BGS influence volatility
- Wrong powerplay system info (and calculation?)

is there any interest in - or maybe it is already on the "to do" list - to sometimes generate incredibly long distance - but profitable - missions

ie mission to get entire detailed scan data from a system 150LY away or perhaps WTD 5 tons of Orrarian Vicious Brew from a system 100LY away?

Some pirates are going to be happy!

(Or start complaining about the 100 limit and why it isn't 200 or a even higher number instead... ;))

You know how to fix this/them.. After some reasonable length of time have an NPC pirates spawn chance slowly increase. Meaning, that after some length of time an NPC pirate will drop in and start trying to take cargo. Then there will be a soft upper limit to the amount of cargo and 1 pirate can collect, before madness ensues.

Before the change the max number of jettisoned cargo containers was 20 - any more than that and they were "overwritten", so there was only 20 at any give time.

After the change you can jettison up to a 100 - apart from when you're near the station or "scenario" zones, i.e. Combat Zones etc., where it's still 20.

Once again big kudos for the patch/fix/update. It is so refreshing to se a game developer so active and so devoted as you guys. When everybody else is just trying to milk as much money in as short time as possible, you guys constantly work on improving the game. Kudos and Respect!
