Salvation is in fact #bazmeson who ultimately found Raxxla and met Ant Might (from Fallout 3) there at the bar (life is full of surprises). Ant Might, after a few drinks and in danger of losing a strip poker round, ultimately initiated him into an ancient ritual about using the Ant Queen Pheromones on the Thargoid Queen, enabling our hero to control the latter. In effect, overcoming no longerplay even but that's not for the kids. The Friend, though, turned his frustrations about the abundance of bugs and #bazmeson getting all the credits, into healthier vibes, becoming The Mechanist who was Ant Might's antagonist and will be the antagonist of the upcoming chapter too. Man and Ant (in form of the Thargoids), after initially going against each other at HIP 22460, will suddenly and unexpectedly unite against their final enemy (under the influence of the Might pheromones) when Salvation pops them out at the story's climax. Galaxy changes forever, fighting the Mechanist | Guardian troops from now on until the next epic battle which we can expect in update 29 approximately. All Guardian equipment will turn against mankind, in fact, becoming radioactive and will render many ships useless. The Great Reset we all expected! Spoiler: in update 30 which is about to conclude the Elite storyline, as we will have so many features available and no more bugs found, so we can build any stories we like on our own, it will be the Concha plant (!) who (they're sapient and all female) is the crucial factor in overcoming the Guardian threat. From there on, Star Citizen takes over, bridging the gap until its final release by throwing in an experimental beta. Or, that's the plan so far.
