The description for both the pre-order and deluxe skins state they can only be used in challenge and sandbox mode. As you may remember or are aware, the pre-order skins for the first title could be used in any game mode.
My question to Frontier is why restrict these skins to certain modes?
I was quite excited to have my pre-order InGen skinned vehicles wiz around my Jurassic Park San Diego park in Chaos Theory, as I thought they would be quite fitting - now I feel very disappointed that I potentially won't be able to do this.
I suspected one of the reasons for restricting the skins to certain modes is because their theme wouldn't fit into Campaign and Chaos Theory. But then again, you unlock the '93 JP Jeep skin in the Jurassic World Evolution's campaign by being in the air for 5 seconds - which could break the immersion feeling of Jurassic World.
