Prices for extras

I thought I was a bit of a nerdy sci fi fan till I saw those models.. whoa! great stuff.
Not something you would show a girl on the first date mind you :)

I think Ashley makes a good point about these rewards helping fund the game, and in that respect I am all for models. Still, £500 + seems prohibitively high. It all depends on the finished articles of course. I'd be interested to see the Anaconda.

In years to come I would expect ship models would be a good line of merchandising for Frontier - lets hope they get a bit cheaper by then.

I'm a bit of an addict to collectors editions of games. One DVD rack has Marcus Fenix on top, and the other Noble Company. The GW2 Rytlock is next to my monitor. Darth Malgus is still in his box though.

Largest franchis collection is the Creed ones, Altair, 2 different models of Ezio and finally Conner. I'm trying to track down the black costume version of Ezio.

I think if FD made one off model only say the famous Cobra Mk3 with battle damage and being 6 inches in size and sold it for £49.99, they would make a killing as imagine 15,000 members adding another £50 just to have a reasonably priced model as a PC mascott.

it makes total sence. even if backers didnt buy one now, you can bet that on general release the people who didnt know about kickstarter would be buying them.

Yes, original Dinky toys are the best.
I had the Enterprise that used to fire discs out of the front. :)

I am trying to track down good condition examples of the other Space 1999 eagles, but they fetch good money on eBay.

If the last updated by... is accurate on the google maps showing where members are Mobius, I could pop in and see your models at lunch time ;)

That's if the nearest town does indeed start with a B... I work on Western Road.

:D

I actually bought one of the Cobra Mk III models, before we knew that we made it. For me, it was definitely a case of getting a nice reward for adding in the extra money, rather than getting a model worth 500 quid in itself :)

you are infact not far from me at all, im scared now.

Considering you also work in IT Security... we may in fact populate the same building, although plenty of options in that particular vicinity, you could also be my customer :p

Ho hum :D
