Michael Brookes was Elite Dangerous personified. Such an important figure in the inception and development of the game. I was very fortunate to finally meet him at one of the get togethers in recent years. We're all going to miss him.

Last night on the Hutton show, we said farewell to Michael and shared some memories of him as well as some of the many many pictures of him with all of us from the community.

Hard to write, harder to read - but we had to say something and share our thoughts.

Sad news. I hope Frontier put something into Elite Dangerous for him. I stopped playing since the consoles got canned but hopefully some day Frontier come to their senses and port the game again to the new consoles. It would be great to continue the journey again.
