RAXXLA: Official statement from FD ?

No, I totally believe it is an ELW out there with a tourist beacon in orbit since the introduction of those. I don't expect to be able to interact with it in any meaningful way, but I do expect that it is in-game as a visible, visual location.

Even still, if that's the grand total of this great mystery unsolved for decades...... just some text at a beacon.

Oh yeah, I concur with your sentiment, 100%. I didn't say that it would live up to expectations, or that the reveal would be commensurate with the hype...just that an ELW with a tourist beacon is my expectation.

At least it will be hard to disappoint me.

Does anyone really believe that Raxxla is an actual real place that you can visit in some meaningful way, and not just some bullcrap made up by FDev to string people along thinking there's some great conspiratorial mystery when in reality there's just.... nothing.....?

It fits the MO of the rest of the game, a shallow empty promise hyped up way beyond reality.
Since they put it in the Codex I believe it is somewhere to be found. But I expect it's only visual.

In response to the OP: They don't need (any more, there was some from Brett C back in the days) an official statement, all they need to do is not rejecting any wild esoteric guessings to keep the legend alive. Works like a charm. 🤩
Very true ! The Forum feeds the fantasy.

Just for the sake of a comprehensive search, the location in question was a "double moon". On the system map, they are both static, but in the system, they orbit, which means when you arrive, depending on the time, the two moons could be 7 or 8, or 8 or 7, trading places.

In any event, I went to the same location on moon 7 and searched around. Nothing there as well.

When I first arrived, Riversides graffiti was everywhere. Now it seems several other names have appeared as "mapped by".

In conclusion, a wild goose chase but we had to check out the claim none the less. I'm going to head over the the ELP just to confirm it's not a landable atmospheric planet.

Just having fun and pushing the envelope.
It was worth checking .... either to support the post or to debunk it. Glad you and Riverside and others were able to do so quickly. (Thebattlepope was first there.) The shenanigins with the post were distinctly odd. Maybe he didn't expect you to be so close by and to respond so quickly ! :D

Raxxla and the dark wheel station are only findable & visitable by kickstarter founders, that's why all of the old SAP8 type missions were for founders or elite.
Finally frontier have come good on the KS rewards. ;)

Do you think Chinese would make a movie about it, if it wasn't true?

Set in a parallel Universe millennias ago of course, exactly where the legends say Rexxla comes from.:alien::sneaky:

I believe it's Founder's World.

I believe it's Founder's World.

As lore goes, it would make perfect sense, and it will probrably be revealed on the 2020 update, and new galaxies will be open to explore and fight, one possibility that we all know has been said is that the thargoids are not from our galaxy and are looking for something, probrably the device that enables to jump to other galaxies...
And that will be the big update!

(we can hope)

If the 2020 update is another RNGalaxy, it better be slam full of water worlds to dilute the salt that will surely be generated in this one.

I want to believe, but would they abbandon Milky Way with less than 1% Discovered Stars for the sake of the new one?

1) ELW
2) requires Elite rank to access
3) Dark Wheel faction present

I think of all the wild tinfoil hat unprovable theories out there it's the most sane.
1) With no lights on the dark side, so either A) it is uninhabited or B) people live underground.

2) True.

3) So why are they (Dark Wheel) quoted in the Codex as still looking for it (Raxxla), if Shinny Dee is it?

This is where they said it was. Not buying it though.
Perhaps he opened the rift and went through with it closing behind him never to open again from this side until he returns- has anyone heard from him sense?

I still believe Raxxla is in Lave somewere.
Do you guys remember hunting for one of the Voyagers ingame? I suspect this is how to find Raxxla.
...But witch direction
Just go in any directin and it takes YEARS! to find something
