Hello,

I got this tool and it is amazing. Normaly i used Version 1.3 but now I looked for updates and wow 1.71. Download and the Problems arrived me too :(
Since version 1.3 the tool register new screenshots and analysed them. But no data to the stations appears in price analysis. The programm told me everything is finished after work and I see the datas in the right screen of the OCR Part (CSV Output ...) but nothing to compare in the price analysis. Used same screenshots in 1.3, everything works. Tryed Versions 1.4; 1.5; 1.6; 1.7; 1.71; 1.73; 1.8. Allways the same Problem, it dosnt matter if it is a cleen install with new calibration, or just copied over funktional 1.3. Reinstalled the things on your first side (C++ redistibutable, ...) with restart, no effect. What can i do now, didnt find anything like this in this thread?

That's absolutely fair enough, don't blame you at all. To be fair, I realised that all I had to do was rescan the info again today, and that would upload it... shouldn't need more than that! *smacks self up side of head*

Be careful you get the system name right if you do this, it will take the system name from your log files so if you've changed system since you took the screenshots, it will pick the wrong system name...

Just took 1.8 for a spin , all good , some minor stuff , like getting the price wrong for Animal meats & calling it Animal monitor I'm looking for them so it's not much of an issues, but unchecked the delete images re-checked & then re-started RN , problem went away, Like the fact when I restarted Animal monitor had been removed from the commodities list box , saves going back into excel and correcting them,

Hi, 1.8 doesn't crash now, I have noticed this error message in the Raw Output window, some examples:

Version 1.8 runs smooth and no issue with me - the scaned figures by OCR are all (!) correct.
Wondering when there will be a "donate" button to say appropriate thank you!

This just keeps getting better and better. I originally switched to this because it it open source but now I use it because it it just what I need.

There could be an improvement with the Station-to-Station tab in the Price Analysis tab.
The fields From and To need to be clicked before the prices will update in the table, after importing new data. It would save a couple of clicks every time I import new data if the table updated for the currently selected stations.

Hi, reading into your message it looks like you may be saving your original screen shots and trying to reprocess them 'Used same screenshots'.
I believe I remember somewhere that the station name is being extracted from the verbose log.
Have you tried new screen shots from the station you are currently docked in?

Time is limited, as I'm sure you appreciate! :)

You are seeing data in the CSV Output window, but that data isn't appearing in the Price Analysis tabs, yes? Do you have "Auto Import" unticked? If it's unticked, then you have to manually hit the "Import" button to get the data into the Price Analysis tabs. Try ticking the Auto Import box and seeing if the data starts appearing.

You might also try turning on the EDDN import to see if that works, because (in theory) it loads data into the price analysis tabs in the same way as the CSV Output box does.

Either way, post back and let me know what you find, and we'll take it from there :)

Is there any reason why you put the station names in front of the system names?
I see that the Price Analysis tab is called "station". But when I look for other destination or discussing this topic with friends, I always remember the system names first - and only in special occasions the station name.
Just feels more natural and intuitive.

I'm working on a more intuitive way for this. I hope to have it done by tomorrow. Just a bit limited on redbull atm.

Hi maxh2003 !!!

Very very good tool. I just updated it from 1.5 to 1.8 and i now have a problem.
I play in BORDERLESS 2715X1527 resolution (because of 2 screens, the main one for ED, the other one for RegulatedNoise, Excel, Firefox etc...)
The fact is when i take a screenshot in this resolution with borderless active, the .bmp file is in 1920X1080. (The .bmp is 2715X1527 only when i activate fullscreen).
My problem is that the calibration tool says to me : "The selected image has a different resolution from your current game settings. Do you want to pick another image ?"
I click "No" and go for manual calibration. It could be ok, but the number 12 crosshair never appears so i can't finish calibration. And then i got plenty of mistakes when capturing market data as you can imagine. I guess the last crosshair is out of the picture...
Do i have another solution than playing fullscreen (which oblige me to alt + tab, and well, as i have 2 screens it's a bit too bad to have to do that) ? Can i force a 2715X1725 .bmp whith borderless active ?

Well, i fixed the problem temporarly by moving up the n°12 crosshair on a 2715X1527 .bmp, then i could calibrate a 1920X1080 .bmp correctly. It works almost perfectly except the OCR is less accurate on a 1920X1080 picture and i have to correct more often. But it's ok.
P.S : sorry for my english as it is not my native language, i hope you understood what i meaned^^

I will look into your issue tomorrow, I was sure I put in a failsafe for such, but after it got butchered by maxh2003, maybe it was removed ;)

The history is too long to bother with, but basically, because RN was never designed so much as just coded - it started as a ten-line app to parse EliteOCR CSV files....

Now MRmP and I are refactoring bits of it, for that exact reason... :)

LOL! I didn't think I'd functionally changed it so much as just refactored it to match the few naming conventions Resharper is suggesting... but I do recall describing it as "butchered" sooooo... who know? :D
