Hi All,

v4.1.4.4 is now available - this adds support for Seeebeks new .bpc export format from EliteOCR.

Other changes since v4.1.3.9 are:

- Added the BPC format for CSV importing from EliteOCR
- The BPC can now search for your ED folder and set it automatically if you want (might take a while)
- Fixed an issue with the To Station combo resetting to ANY constantly
- Fixed an issue with To/From not being saved at exit if not using Multi-Select mode
- Added ability to toggle multi-select!
- Fixed an issue with ANY <> ANY searching
- added more frequent news check
- BPC now refreshes the available server list more often.
- Fixes to Distance based searches
- Added "Radius Search mode" which is an ANY <> ANY search with a Distance when the BPC knows your location.
- A little adjustment to the Combo box system

The BPC will auto-update to the latest version. If you're running a version below 4.1.3.9 then you can get the installer from here: http://www.slopey.com/ED/BPC.exe and let it patch itself up when it starts up.

If you get a database locked error, please just restart the BPC and it'll clear it.

Thanks for the update. I was looking forward to a radius based search!
So updated, waited for Parsing to finish, then tried a radius search with 16 ly range around my location. The Message Box told me that it will do now an ANY <> ANY Search Around my location "Coriccha" but well the evil error window strikes again!

I can hit "Continue" but nothing happens. Message from Error is in Spoiler!

Thanks for the efforts, its a real help to most, I have been trying to just use local mode only rather than crowd sourced, but frustratingly some updates switch on auto download and I lose all my local data, I assume the priority is for crowd sourcing so I cannot complain, but if this is not the desired effect I am just pointing it out. :)

FYI I was using it in local mode only and the latest update has lost all my settings, forced it into check for updates :( Looks like I'll have to uninstall, wipe the DB and input all my data again... I can live with that mind! Thanks for a great tool.

It would be nice if we could have some station data added, e.g. black market, outfitting, repairs added?

I also lose all settings when updating (incl. turning auto-update back on). It didn't use to do this back when we updated manually so it's probably something related to the updater rather than BPC itself. Not sure if I can be any more helpful than that, it's really more of an annoyance than a major bug anyway. :)

I have no idea why it toggles itself on. I've not set it to do that, and settings shouldn't be touched on the update - the default is "off" in the BPC itself.

You have a non EN/US decimal separator - for now, you need to use "." rather than "," until I fix it.

I'm running BPC on a laptop and pointing it to the logs file on my main PC, maybe that is causing the local mode auto update issue? Anyone else doing the same?

If it helps I am not using the default installation location, when it updated I even had the dialog about finding the log files, shame really as local mode was working great, but I cannot stomach going around and gathering all that data again just ATM.

All installed in the same directory of frontier.

This is interesting, as it implies that even if we have auto updates turned off and are running in local mode only after clearing the DB, our data is still being uploaded for the crowdsourcing - whether we want it to be or not.

What is more interesting is if that is an intended feature, it does not work - I just refreshed the whole database, and only some of my systems were there (I know they were mine because I spelled one wrong and because of what data I was inputting and how).

Not sure why that setting suddenly switched to "on" - that'll take some investigation. Remember you can multi-select and delete data from the local database from the system data grids (right click), so you should be able to clear it down reasonably easily if you know which systems you've been to - the BPC will only update data from your last update onwards so you should be able to delete everyting in the system last update grid which was added after your last manual update.

Nope - it really shouldn't matter. If anything, it's something to do with the settings in your AppData folder. But I have no idea why it toggles it to "on". I can't reproduce it here - it stays off between updates on several machines here - very confusing.

Is there a bug with export? All I see in ms xls viewer is the column titles with no data. The xlsx2csv python script returns sheet 1 not found error. Export done from current version after data update d/l + parsed.

Working fine for me - it exports an XLSX file.

v4.1.4.6 is now up

- this version backs up your ED4.db on launch, so if auto-updates get inadvertantly toggled, you can uncheck it, close the BPC and restore ED4.backup.db to ED4.db.

I'd also recommend you back up your ED4.db occasionally as that's where the BPC stores your local data.

Im not sure if you already had time to take a look at my Project (VS2012). Here is a small Update calculating all data needed (async Profit calculation also), for example within a distance of 150 getting 114.986 Results within 4,5 Seconds new Porject link here:
