Just so you know it isn't an isolated case. It has been doing it on my machine too.

Are you on the latest version? Relaunch it and it'll pick a different server in case one has a hiccup.

It should work off the BPC tab too - I'll check it later.

Hi all,

This tool is fantastic. Unfortunately when I wish to change stations in different systems for trading it crashes (or would appear to crash in that nothing happens) I'm a total Noob when it comes to this sort of thing i.e programming/folders/files etc etc.

Can you add an option or talk to EliteOCR to enable us to override the resolution requirement if we are using local mode only. I can't up my resolution to take higher screenshots as my max res is 1680x1050. In local mode the mistakes only effect me.

Having the following issues using local mode, no updates. V4.1.4.7


long pause / freeze when first run
Taking 15 - 20 mins to update with newly updated data. (using bcp files from OCR).

each time I click refresh after a minute, a few more commodities are added.

Thanks for a great tool. I'm using EliteOCR to help capture some commodity data and share with the community. It worked fine earlier, but in the latest update, I can't upload CSV files any more, only EliteOCR BPC file - I'm not sure how to create these. Is this the the Trade Dangerous Export in OCR tool? It doesn't do anything when I hit it. Any help much appreciated. Do I need to download something else?

When you hit Export in EliteOCR use the drop down menu "Files of Type" to change from "CSV" file format to "Slopey's Best Price Calculator CSV-File(*.bpc)

Something I'd like to see in a future version, is the ability to setup a multi system route. As in, Start at system A, bring something to System B to trade, fill up with something for system C, Trade at C, etc etc and end up back at system A.

Hi all

I love the tool :) thanks a lot for you work!!!
One question:
I recently upgraded to the newest version (4.1.4.7). I am playing locally, just for myself atm. During the upgrade i lost my complete local database. I still got all the CSV-files, created with EliteOCR. I see that i can not import .csv-files anymore, but only "eliteocr" -Files *.bpc
Is there a way to convert the old *.csv files into the new *.bpc file format?

Finally got it all working and was even able to update two systems with my csv files while making a LITTLE bit of a profit off of the trade between them but then it stopped responding and now every time I run it I get 'cant find db file now exiting' again. Really getting sick of things constantly going wrong but i want to help make it work for everyone and not just myself so can I please get a response this time (3rd time asking about this) as to why this keeps happening?

- this version backs up your ED4.db on launch, so if auto-updates get inadvertantly toggled, you can uncheck it, close the BPC and restore ED4.backup.db to ED4.db.

I'd also recommend you back up your ED4.db occasionally as that's where the BPC stores your local data.

You have to select BCP files when you export and save the data from EliteOCR and you can't use csv's anymore!

What is the format specification of bpc-files?

I've been exporting my own collected data as csv, but now you have removed that option it seems.
